I'm guilty as well

Hi guys
I've posted a rant in the past about the decline of quality in ATS and was pulled up by a relative newbie for making them feel unwelcome, I apologised both privately and publicly.

Let's face it when you take the time to sort the wheat from the chaff ATS is still a great site. There's a lot more members now and not all new members 'get it' at first so let's give them a chance. Sure there's trolls this kind of site is a troll magnet. That's handy if you like troll curry, yes some mods can be a tad over sensitive that's their job, yes someone may post something you find offensive. If you choose to be offended deal with it; or just move on to something you like.

At the end of the day ATS is about sharing info, debating, laughing, crying, and occasionally going WOW never thought of that, or hmmmmmm that effects my theory.

So if we ignore the trolls and stick to what we do best ......................... guess what ?

I thought there was a decline as well, but that didn't stop me from coming here everyday for my daily dose of conspiracy or breaking news!

I actually had a boss that would troll sites and he had no reason, he said it was fun. I just think that's creepy.
I don't understand why anyone would want to troll, but to each his own.

Trolls can be ignored, if you comment back that just makes them more excited!

I took part in your earlier thread and said I wouldnt post in anymore pointless threads, I lasted 5 hrs LOL

Im officially taking a break from this site for a few weeks as I cant seem to stop myself and the headaches just arent worth it since at the end of the day it has no effect on my life whatsoever.

Behave ATS and dont do anything I wouldnt do till I get back

Strangely enough my wife spent 3 years on a cruise ship as a photogragher
I'd post one of me but the site would crash

there have been several rants along the lines of ATS is going downhill,
and then, LO and BEHOLD, there's a whole buncha really good threads today
with great participation, including some effective 'troll bashing'

i'ts a case of 'ask and you shall receive'!
