Kozagacli and Aslan lately visited Syria to inspect the damages that affected the Syrian people and find common denominators to raise lawsuits against the Turkish government which is involved in the events in Syria.
They left Damascus last Thursday to Turkey after holding a lengthy meeting with the opposition Coalition of the Peaceful Change Forces, in addition to a series of other meetings with Syrian forces and figures.
"Those lawyers' cause is our cause," the Bar Association said in its statement, stressing that all these law organizations shoulder the responsibility for which they were established until the Turkish lawyers are released.
The Association addressed a letter to the Head of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, Vedat Ihsan Kosar, calling upon him to follow up on the situation of the arrested lawyers.
It expressed its denunciation regarding arresting the lawyers just because they wanted to defend the right and bring lawsuits before the Turkish judiciary against those who robbed industrial facilities in Aleppo and other Syrian areas and who are committing terrorist acts supported, morally and financially, by the government of Erdogan and its partners.
In the same context, Syrian parties expressed condemnation of the Turkish government's arrest of 85 persons, including the 15 lawyers of CHD, describing the act as "immoral".
