If there are two documents, one titled "The Constitution of the United States of America" and another titled "The Constitution of the United States" then you might be correct.

Do both these document titles officially exist?

Not that I know of.

The non existent document makes the most sense unless there is a second document.
There are people who claim that the US in under the control of the UN.

So it seems the writers of our Constitution may have left the "America" out of the Presidents oath to allow for deniability.

Or maybe it’s our fault for assuming that the President is swearing an oath to preserve, protect, and defend The Constitution of the United States of America (the actual document), when that is not the case.

Did anyone notice that Obama said “sta” instead of “state” in the second oath, the one he took today, Monday the 21st.

Some of you want any reason to string this man up from a lightpost and have your own version of history.

Compared with what some past presidents, bankers, ceo's have done, I really truley believe that there's a massive underlying of RACISM inside America's psyche.

This is nothing personal against Obama. I think all people should be held accountable for their actions. This thread just so happens to be about the Presidential oath. Thanks for calling me a racist though, I appreciate that.

This is just another example that people will look for the smallest detail and create a huge issue out of it.

I said AMERICA has a pscyhe of racism running through it, if you choose to be a part of it or not I suppose its how objective and balanced you are in your opinions of him as a president.

Clearly its because he plans to enslave America through mindcontrol and war. He's obviously the most evil man on the planet and this in no way is a gramatical/vocal error.

I'm pretty sure that's the wrong answer.

Seriously though, we the people have had so many freedoms infringed upon, that with this insane amount of debt, we are nearing slavery.

When I saw Obama sign the NDAA in the same room as The Constitution, I knew for sure that he had no intent on preserving, protecting, or defending it. Quite the opposite.

This thread isn’t about Obama though and just for the record I didn’t support Romney either. We have all been duped.

Gov shuts down in 2 months unless they give themselves a credit limit increase.
They borrow 40% of every dollar they spend and they have no desire to change that.

What do you think will happen?

I think I need to start reading up on the fall of Rome.

It's never been in the oath. They've always had a back door to help them feel morally balanced on their death bed... "yeah, I did some messed up things in my time... but I NEVER swore to uphold the constitution of the United States of America, so they can't say it wasn't obvious... yes, they never wanted freedom or liberty or the responsibility of making decisions by themselves... they willingly let me do it all!"
