An event happening on Thursday February 7th 2013 w. Stephen Bassett, Grant Cameron, The Honorable Paul Hellyer and Victor Viggiani.
---------------------------------------
In preparation for the Citizens’ Hearing on Disclosure in Washington DC this April, a Canadian group in support of ET Disclosure will host an
international preview event for the press and the general public in Toronto. This event will provide an in-depth preview of the Citizens’ Hearing on
Disclosure to be held at the Washington DC National Press Club from April 29 to May 3, 2013 under the direction of Stephen G. Bassett – Executive
Director of the Paradigm Research Group.
A keynote address at the Toronto preview event will be delivered by The Honorable Paul T. Hellyer - former Canadian Minister of National Defense. Mr.
Hellyer has also been called to appear as a witness at the Hearings in Washington DC in April.
Mr. Bassett expects some 40 witnesses will present over 30 hours of testimony to former members of the House of Representatives regarding events and
evidence relevant to extraterrestrial related phenomena. The Citizens’ Hearing setting will match that of a formal Senate hearing to the extent
possible. The proceedings will be streamed live over the internet. An international film production company will tape the hearings in preparation for
a film documentary.
PARTICIPANTS:
The Honorable Paul T. Hellyer - former Canadian Minister of National Defense under Lester B. Pearson and Deputy Prime Minister under Pierre Elliot
Trudeau.
Stephen G. Bassett - Executive Director - Paradigm Research Group – Coordinator of the Citizens’ Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club
Washington DC.
Grant Cameron - Canadian UFO Researcher and web master – The Presidents UFO Website – Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Introduction of The Honorable Paul T. Hellyer former Minister of National Defense of Canada
Keynote Address: The Honorable Paul T. Hellyer former Canadian Minister of National Defense (approx 15 minutes)
Moderator Victor Viggiani will introduce the panel: Stephen G. Bassett (on Skype) - Grant Cameron (on Skype) - The Hon. Paul Hellyer along with Mr.
Viggiani will present remarks on the Citizens’ Hearing on Disclosure to be held in Washington DC at the National Press Club during the week of April
29 to May 3, 2013
Each panelist will contribute comments that reflect the strategic significance of the Hearing process based on their area of expertise on the UFO
Disclosure movement. Mr. Bassett (political activist), Mr. Hellyer (former Cabinet Minister/MoD), Mr. Cameron (Canadian UFO Research analyst and
author), Mr. Viggiani (Media and Broadcast Journalist)
PANEL TOPICS:
Mr. Bassett will begin the panel presentations as the coordinator of the Disclosure Hearings. He will outline the history, rationale and strategic
importance of the Hearings.
Mr. Grant Cameron - will assess the political and research implications of disclosure as it relates to the roles played by United States Presidents in
maintaining the high levels of secrecy that surround ET related issues. The history of involvement of virtually every US President since Harry Truman
in ET related matters has be meticulously catalog and analyzed by Mr. Cameron - one of Canada's new generation of internationally recognized UFO
researchers.
The Honorable Paul T. Hellyer, who will appear as a Cabinet level witness at the Washington DC Hearings will enhance and expand upon his keynote
address from a national security and government policy perspective. Mr. Hellyer, since coming forward at the University of Toronto's Convocation Hall
in 2005 about the UFO issue, has spoken throughout the globe on this matter. He has been a staunch critic of government and military officials who
remain complacent in the face of unassailable evidence that indicates not only are UFOs real but they represent the most historic chapter in the
history of the human race and its survival on the planet. We anticipate he will answer the question: Why would a former Minister of Defense choose to
take such a position on an issue that, despite the prevalence of evidence, is summarily and critically dismissed by government?
Mr. Victor Viggiani will provide an assessment of the significant role North American mainstream media continues to play in avoiding any incisive
journalistic investigation into the vast array of evidentiary information available in Canadian and American archives. Government documents, radar
reports and military witness testimony indicating that an extraterrestrial presence has engaged the human race continue to be ignored by media.
QUESTION PERIOD:
The balance of the evening will be devoted to a general discussion of the Disclosure issue as a political imperative requiring the broad-based
government acknowledgement of the extraterrestrial presence now engaging the human race. This question and answer format involving the panel will be
an integral part of this segment of the event. In addition to guests present at the Conspiracy Culture store, this event will also be streamed live
over the internet. Therefore the moderator will co-ordinate discussion and questions from the assembled guests, the media and those who submit
questions on-line.
MEDIA REQUESTS:
Media requests for camera space and interview time with Mr. Hellyer and Mr. Viggiani can be made by contacting Chris Russak – event coordinator –
by email at

BACKGROUND FOR PRESS ON THE CITIZENS' HEARING ON DISCLOSURE WASHINGTON DC APRIL 29TH TO MAY 3RD 2013:
The Citizens’ Hearing will be conducted over five days. It will consist of 30 hours of testimony from approximately forty witnesses testifying in
groups of three and four regarding events and evidence relevant to extraterrestrial related phenomena. Each witness will deliver prepared remarks to
be followed by questions from the hearing committee made up of five former members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.
The setting for and conduct of the Citizens’ Hearing will match that of a formal Senate hearing to the extent possible. The Hart Senate Hearing Room
will be the model. In addition to a press section, there will be room for a public audience of approximately 300. The entire Citizens’ Hearing, 40
hours, will be live streamed over the Internet.
Simultaneous translations for the live and Internet audience will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, French and Russian as needed. The last
Congressional hearing addressing the ET subject occurred in 1968. The motto for the Citizens’ Hearing on Disclosure is, "If Congress will not do
its job, the people will."
