The world works in mysterious ways. And Amazon is beyond mysterious. No sooner had I gotten this one-star review, my book climbs in the UK to the highest it's ever been! #56 in genre, and 7,708 site wide-






*shakes head* Me no comprende.

And oh, since that review, not one sale in the UK. Big contrast to the 4.9 stars the book has across 7 reviews in the US.

EDIT AGAIN: Well, that didn't last long- just had another sale, despite that 1-star review.

I finally finished the book! Life kept getting in the way!
And weirdly, the night I started reading it, Deep Impact was on TV!
I even went to the dark side & bought a tablet to read it on properly!
There were a couple of nights that I didn't get much sleep,
because I couldn't stop reading!
One night I only got two hours...thank you very much!!!
And that's saying something, because I usually fall asleep,
no matter how good something is!

I'm glad to see you left the 'caveman' in there!
(Right now someone is reading this & saying what caveman???)

That's so awesome WOQ! So I guess you must have liked it then? Think it's worthy of more than a 1-star review? (that mean old lady on Amazon.uk!) I'd love another 5-star review on Amazon if you find the time! And so sorry for your loss of sleep! (hehe). Thanks again so much for your purchase!

And in the meantime, I got updates. First of all, I'm about to hit 200 books sold. I'm just shy of that. Pretty cool huh, for just over two months out? On Amazon.uk, another couple of people reviewed it, with a 5-star and 3-star, giving me a total there so far of 3-stars. But still waiting on another (hopefully decent) review from a couple that purchased a signed printed paperback in the UK. So maybe it will go up again. Just today had another near record-breaking sales day and climbed back into the top 100 best sellers in genre at #66 for a while.

95% of sales at this point are still coming from the UK. Also, for some strange reason, I've now sold a couple copies in Denmark, on the Amazon there.

But the big news is:
Been working with the graphic artist real hard, and I am amazed at his patience with me- cause with me it's been change after change after change. But dudes! This new artwork is incredible! We're putting the final touches on it now, and Dale is handling all my changes like a pro (duh, he IS a pro!). The one-piece, wrap around scene will cover the entire book, and man oh man am I stoked about how it is coming! It looks awesome, and it's not even done yet!
(I am utterly too hard to please, but this guy is coming through- despite some rough initial drafts that were very hard to envision at all. But so glad I have have stuck it out with him, cause now, we are nearing masterpiece quality.)

So yeah, things are moving folks!

Quick update:

Pricing now just $2.99 in USD, and pricing changes in all countries made to reflect this pricing. It is still on Kindle Unlimited for a while longer, but that will be ending soon. Thanks again to all who have supported me in this crazy venture!

I found this book on Amazon and really enjoyed it. One of the better SHTF books that I have had the pleasure to read. @TrueAmerican wrote an amazing tale. The way the earth reacted and the way the author described it had me thinking, this could really happen.

Just a quick note for those who haven't read it, this book, which started as a short story here on ATS, is now back on Kindle Unlimited for a while!
