Why should the government of America try and make it were know one can defend themselves. I know that a lot of people die because some crazy moron decides to use a gun in a bad way, but that does not mean all of the states should be under the same restrictions as the people that abuse the law. If there was know guns all that would happen is the people would a different weapon. gun restrictions are not going to change much.

It's about an authoritarian government exerting more control. But you're on the right track.

Youre absolutely right. And as long as criminals have guns and ways to get guns...Ill have mine too.

Im sure that most people with guns use them for hunting anyway.
