Myrtle Beach Baby!!! Vacation 2013

My family and I are heading to Myrtle Beach this summer. Actually out side of it in Garden City, SC. We went there two years ago and had the best time!!!

So I'm wondering if any of you frequent MB and have any must see or must do information? OR of course, and DO NOTs!

I live in Sutrfside beside Garden City, glad you liked it. I would suggest Huntington beach just south of Garden City, the beaches are nice and not crowded.

Just beware of Bike week unless you like those things. I make it a point to be far far away for bike week.

Yes, check the calendar for Bike Week, BTW, there are 2 bike weeks there.

Don't fall for the Time Share delios... give us an hour of your time and we'll give you free gifts,
yes in the end you do get the stuff they promise and it does only take an hour or so, but it's
very high pressure sales tactics.

Great Breakfast Buffet on weekends - Da Tar Baby's, it's near North Myrtle Beach.

Shopping -
Broadway at the Beach.
Barefoot Landing.

Lots of great Golf Courses.

Oh, if you're up for a day trip, head down to Charleston SC, very historic and lots to see and do.

I love MB and can't wait to go again some day.

Yea Surfside!! My parents stayed there once. They liked it!

I had a great time on the pier at garden city.

You LIVE there?? LOL that must be pretty cool, i can't imagine!!

We go the last week of Aug. so 2 years ago we were leaving the day Irene was coming. We stayed in the big cement high rise condo. The wind was freaken crazy.

The last night it was raining so much all the streets were flooding. I was driving somewhere and remember having to go all out of my way to stay out of the water, it was nuts.
