It will never happen. They might....MIGHT....get a magazine ban and possibly some kind of restriction on internet ammo sales, but that's the end of it. They probably won't even get that. Right now there isn't even enough support in the freakin' Senate to pass the most watered down of bills, let alone the House of Reps. That's why Ol' Uncle Joe was running is mouth about executive orders (which will get struck down by even a very left leaning SCOTUS). The administration knows they'll never get anything done legislatively.

People in Australia had that same attitude, "It will never happen, I'll die before I give up my guns".

We all know what happenend next...

Oh they have had this bill on the burner for years.....just waiting for the right mass murder. Now they can come in and "save" us all.

What's that about the gun that "should be safe because it looks like you could hunt with it"? You can hunt with a 9mm baretta, but it's not a hunting gun. If this is an actual thing, and not just somebody making stuff up, then the guy that said that about "looks like" is an idiot.

I thought everyone knew that that's exactly how they decide what is banned. I don't know if this story is fabricated, but I believe it's absolutely accurate either way. What's sad is the KSG, that is one of the only guns I have ever seen that I truly wanted. That and the kel tec 22 mag. Kel tec is just starting to making unique weapons and this is going to hurt that company a lot.

Seriously though, I have absolutely ZERO doubt that appearance is how they choose the weapons to ban. It's not about curving violence, its about appearnces, control, erosion of gun rights, and gauging reactions.

Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of:
 120 specifically-named firearms
 Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one military characteristic
 Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds

Is this a freaking joke ? they are deciding what assult weapons to ban based upon detachable magazine and characteristics that remind them of military hardware ?

This is as stupid as advertising for a PC based on its CD drives and PC case, it has NOTHING to do with performance......

I agree that this is probably how they decide. If i didn't know any better I'd be more scared of an all black AR-15 than a wooden stock hunting rifle, which of course would be stupid, but logic doesn't work with these people.

Consider how much product is moved with that very tactic. It's disgusting how stupid consumers and subsequently voters are.

And the KSG does not take a clip or drum magazine....it is tubular (albeit two). Those things have been so popular that they are selling for well above the MSRP.

it would be interesting if america was retaken with WWII rifles. pew pew! the originals have metal butt plates though, not very comfortable, but you could bash someone with it pretty well.

There is a very distinct reason why Kel-tec is going to be just fine, regardless of any ban...
This is the same reason that some of its' products are hard to find, and/or selling way above MSRP...

They have several Govt. and private security company contracts! They are making a pile of PMR's, RMR's and KSG's....But the majority are being sold to the Feds...!

Let her pass ALL THE LEGISLATION she wants. DiFi hasn't read the Constitution and she will find out why we don't give 2 $hits about her or her "constituents."

Try us, DiFi. Please, I beg you to awake and unite this Sleeping Monster.

The only way we as fire arm owners will have a say as it is our right is take a it to the supreme court for it is our right by law dictionary.sensagent.com... from the link

n the Report of the Subcommittee on the Constitution of the Committee on the Judiciary, United States Senate, 97th Congress, Second Session (February 1982), a bipartisan subcommittee (consisting of 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats) of the United States Senate investigated the Second Amendment and reported its findings. The report stated:

The conclusion is thus inescapable that the history, concept, and wording of the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commentator and court in the first half century after its ratification, indicates that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner.[1]
now let you say it is not so, if you do then you do know the rights nor the law of the US

Wow.. creating bills in secret that public can't see until after passing.

Too bad the people didn't take their country back before the country armed itself to the teeth, deployed drones, built all the death camps, militarized the police, created DHS, etc.

Are you suggesting that the government's military would be able to squash out an insurrection with little to no problem? Because precedent in Iraq and Afghanistan seem to suggest otherwise. Also the government would be turning its forces onto its population. The very same population that every me.ber of the military volunteered to join. How many people are going to obey orders? Next is our economy which is barely being held up as it is. I'm sure a civil war or even just civil strife could tip it over. So if the economy crashes how is the government going to pay the aforementioned military personal?

This situation isn't as cut and dry as people try to make it out. The best option the government has if there is an uprising is to hopefully contain it and isolate it so it doesn't spread. This will be extremely hard if there are uprisings across the country, or even just texas (since it is the size of a country and all). The longer the uprising lasts the worse off the government will be.

Also if the government starts using drone strikes against the populous I can imagine it wouldn't be a great p.r. move since those drones tend to create alot of collateral damage. They could easily create another Sandy Hook by trying to kill a native insurgent who happens to live next to an elementary school/mall/public place.

No gun is safe ! The United Nations wants you to be unarmed totally and they are behind the push to destroy the Constitution and Bill of Rights that defines the United States of America . George Soros who betrayed his own Jewish people during WW2 working for the Germans sending them to the camps has now decided to destroy the United States of America and make it a compliant nation state of the Ultra Socialist /Communist -New World Order ran by the Banksters who created this mess we are in today. He has the money / power behind him to achieve it but , first must go our ability to resist .They could care less how many people are killed by guns especially since they want a population reduction of 80 % per David Rockefeller , Bill Gates and Ted Turner , Henry Kissinger Prince Phillip and the rest of the Bilderbergers . Of course their names aren't on the delete list .

I didn't know that they were a fed choice. Makes sense though.. the KSG is just awesome as is the PMR.
Their early guns were eh.. so so. 9mm's with insane 13 lb trigger pulls and stuff. Now however they are killin' it.
