I'm 5'7 - 5'8

I'm self conscious about my height because everyone seems so damn tall comparatively.
However, looking at myself in the mirror... I have a pretty big torso, long arms, and my thighs are about twice the size of my shins.

So I have midget shins that connect to my feet.

If my shins were at normal range, I'd probably be 5'11 - 6'0

What can I do? I'm 22.

Can I drink lots of milk and HGH? Can I maybe try running to induce microfactures, and hang ankle weights while I sleep?

Or do I have to actually pay for someone to break my shins and extend them with a 3 month span of excruciating pain?

I wouldn't recommend paying someone to break your shins... just saying..

Be peaceful. You cannot believe the impossible odds you have defied to be here just as you are.

First - why are you comparing yourself to others?

My son is your height, very popular both with his friends and the ladies, and has a lovely girlfriend. You're not too short.

That said, i believe the only limb lengthening methods involves breaking bones but i may be wrong.

I'm 5'2".

I invested in a "reacher" to get things off the top shelf.

Way nicer than broken bones.

Seriously, I have have found some gals with short shins to still be really cute. Then again I look at more than just a nice pair of shins.....

Be who you are and I promise you will still find what you are looking for.

You beat me sorry... Pix comment is funny cause now we all have a vision of a weird person knuckle dragger in our heads.

I'm sure you're overly self conscious. You're beautiful...

I had a friend who said she was in an accident early in life with short legs (femurs) and that she had scars on her thighs from the accident.
Years later she told me that they intentionally broke her femurs put in some sort of spacer and put her into traction for healing. She gained 3 1/2 inches overnight.

You could invest in orthopaedic surgery to lengthen your legs, but it would be difficult finding an ethical and certified practitioner to perform the operation and figure it's going to take a couple of years recovery time.

Or you could invest some time and energy in upping your self esteem. If that doesn't work, there's still the circus.

Jeez, cbankord, this is the second or third time you've torn yourself down here. Isn't it time for a little counseling maybe?

Sure, when I was younger I wished I was better looking, wasn't going bald, wasn't so skinny, but I thought of this maybe once every couple of years.

Look, if a car is the vehicle that drives people from one location to the next, then the human body is the vehicle that drives the mind from one experience to the next. Don't think about what your body can't do, but what it CAN do. The more of life you enjoy, the more people you gather around you, and this means you have much better chances of finding someone that would love you for what you are and not what you look like.

Why did Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie marry these guys; it certainly wasn't for their looks!
