Well, I get that your tired of seeing it here, and really, that's fine. Everybody gets tired of something that makes the headlines here sometimes. Because so many people have a different "Take" on issues.

I've just found it interesting, because even just by reading a few of the gun threads, I've actually learned a few things I did not know, and a few that I maybe should be concerned about.


But that is what the rant is for, right? Getting it off your chest!

I agree, I just logged on and got angry. But then i was browsing and just had to join in to another gun thread that got my goat...... So im a bloody hypocrite. and i apologise. you cant win on here

If gun exist, every time a massacre happen, Threads will return.

Sadly 2012 was riddled with gun violence, and now it hit political point.


ATS goes thru multiple phases....

Abortion > Gun > Religion > Vaccine > Doomsday >repeat.

I'm with you 100% I'm so sick of these threads banging on about the same thing over and over. Yes Its an important subject to the guys over the pond but why does there have to be sooooo many threads saying the same thing. Boring.....!

People just need something to rant about these days not to forgot tho that people are so scared that the US is home to a bunch of blood thirsty beasts (even tho it is) which makes the people think every crime is going to be gun related (once again most crimes are). But who really cares? Just ignore it and check it off to another paranoid Americana.

So, you are another British who is completely ignorant to the fact that your own country is been having an exponential increase in violent crimes, including crimes with GUNS, after the submissive, dumbed down slaves in the UK allowed themselves to be disarmed?...

You are also totally ignorant on the fact that most gun/firearm crimes in the U.S. occur in states/cities which are leftwing such as New York, and Detroit/Illinois?...

It has been proven in case, after case, city after city, and nation after nation, that those who allow their citizens to be disarmed are in fact making it easier for criminals, crazies, and a tyranical government to get total control of that city, state, or nation...

I find it ironic how so many Europeans claim they are so much "civilized" than Americans, and call Americans arrogant, when in fact it is Europeans who are arrogant, and backwards... You still have royal families who DO have power, and lots of money, yet you want to call us uncivilized?...

Edited because it is a waste of time to try to change the minds of those who are afraid to death of people who want to keep their right to defend themselves...

You're missing the point of the op...It's a RANT about the huge number of threads regarding the same subject..guns. May I recommend a nice cup of tea and a re-read of the op?

Would everyone be doing the same thing right now (posting about guns) If the crimes of today were caused by baseball bats n crowbars?? Maybe cars were the leading cause of deaths, would everyone rant about those an how they should be banned??
