truth be told as will become obvious to those that study this subject, DEKE slayton and his nasa physicians not to mention the other "astronauts" and I use the term loosely were morons, thugs, criminals, non Americans, embarrassing losers of the first rank, not to mention the second rank too, and TERRIBLE LIARS

This is what I meant by your not understanding the semantics, ask your own physician and then post, idiopathic in this context means the problem is intrinsic to the conduction system itself.

one final point , the term "idiopathic " would almost certainly not be used in most modern presentations contexts, if PAF was primary and intrinsic to the conduction system in any given case, such would be understood

finally and most importantly, all semantics aside, the issue at hand is the story of slayton and his a fib, read the story, you have not yet, once done ask yourself if it is consistent with a believable story of a young man with a fib whose problem resolves of its own accord, those of us that know medicine will answer NO and we come to know Slayton as the criminal he was and is to this day

The fact remains that the decision as told does not make sense, since more fit candidate were available why take the risk. I think that we can examine the minutia but this fact among other inconsistencies continue to build the case against the traditional history of the space program.

and an insanely huge risk at that

Idiopathic does NOT mean conduction disease. It means arising from an unknown cause.

by definition PAF is conduction system disease, if slayton had PAF, as would be the case with anyone, he would have abnormal electtrophysiologic studies while alive and on autopsy his conduction system would show histopathologic changes characteristic of primary or if you prefer"idiopathic" afib

to have PAF is to have a diseased conduction system, this is what we LITERALLY MEAN BY THE TERM

Yet, if you look at scholarly papers describing idiopathic PAF at that time, they'll mention all sorts of causes from diet to stray conduction paths.

if we have 10 people with primary PAF , same disease slayton purportedly had , and we seek to "cure" them by ablation, what does the electrophysiologist- cardiologist find at the time of the ablation procedure? a diseased conduction system, something to ablate, this is what would have been found in the case of slayton if he had this problem today and were these little space adventures real, PAD means conduction system disease
