I was just thinking, the cultural differences in America are starting to get so ridiculously entrenched and polarized that I'm not sure if it is
possible for the two political parties to work out their differences.
This has been made worse by the internet and other selective programming that basically allows someone to live in the delusion that their ideas are
the only ones, because that is all they come in contact with. This is also made worse by people losing the skill sets (and social skill sets) needed
to think critically and solve problems and work together to figure out a solution for everyone.
Okay, anyway, I think this is a looming crisis that is going to result in a disaster. A HUGE DISASTER. Maybe multiple ones.
I'm just saying, having arbiters of a neutral allegiance with no cultural ties who could help figure things out in congress might be a good idea. It
won't happen, ha. So how off base am I about our political system being in trouble?
