Some fresh blood from Estonia

Hi,
I have been quite an active reader for a couple years now, but I guess its time to start contributing also. I'm a 30 year old male from Tallinn, Estonia (small EU country in Northern-Europe, between Finland, Sweden, Russia etc.) and from Estonian nationality.
Occupation wise I'm an IT specialist, concerning mostly big information systems, databases etc. But my main passion is music - I'm a guitar player and songwriter in an alternative rock band (mostly something towards garage, stoner, blues, punk and some more melodic stuff also).

Concerning ATS my main interests would be global news, science and history topics. I'm not actually religious, loyal supporter of any political system or follower of any other big agenda - I try to keep an open mind about things, as there is always something behind the scenes and nothing is really black and white. Hope to see more Europe related topics also in the future - people from British Isles are quite active as I have seen, but "mainlanders" should step more in too.

So cheers to you all and lets see what sort of interesting tides tomorrow shall bring.

Thanks mates! Especially those who know what a meter of snow covering your car looks like in the morning. Though our first big snow this year is melting a bit at the moment here and has turned to ice mostly. But no worries - minus 30 celsius will be here in no time
As climate is one of the big topic in this forum - nothing too special in our region. Every year is a bit different, but still quite normal as it has always been. I guess it is one of the last corners, where nature is actually pushing back a bit, wolves and eagles are breeding happily and you can actually see a bear in the capital close to the city centre (yup - it happened last year).

Which city are you from? I was born and grew up in Tallinn, now in London, UK for the past 4+ years... Just registered here myself.. Surprised to see someone from Estonia joining on the same day as me... Some coincidence, eh?

Well Hello. Born in Tartu, then lived here and there, but since teenager in Tallinn also. Havent moved to Finland yet (small irony for the locals).
