UFO seen at McMinnville

OK. If this has been posted before ,I am sorry.

So a few people apparently saw an UFO . They made this video.

The detail is fuzzy, but the exclemation in the voices of people around sound, well, judge for yourself. Neighbors were out celebrating the holiday, "Then all of a sudden someone says what is that!" said Mark Stone of McMinnville. "We all looked up and there was a large triangle of lights. We ran towards the craft which was hovering silently about 100 ft above a house. Probably twice the size of the house.As we approached the craft it slowly headed south and disappeared

Notice that it is clearly visible from 0:22 because it starts glowing.

I have screen captured this and here is what I get :-





What is interesting is that it starts to glow in a yellowish color which is quite similar to a yellow bulb.
What are your thoughts?

EDIT:-
The suspected UFO is in the left side and the street light is on the right.
Also if you watch the video closely ,you can clearly see that the object on the left illuminated itself.

what im seeing is a street light,

it is not self illuminating imo, its just hidden between some tree branches and when the camera moves to the right the street light comes into full view

I know that there is a street light there which is creating the confusion.

But watch it from 0:22 ,the camera is in the same position while the object starts to glow.
At one point both the street light and the glowing object is visible(see the last picture in the thread).

To be honest withcha, I have no idea what I am watching. The resolution is even tinier than the alloted PPI and DPI and I don't squint that well.

So what are you saying?....the light comes on by itself?


Also, you're suggesting I don't watch the entire 33 seconds of the video because the 'meat' of this is in the last remaining 11 seconds of this 33 second video?

Seriously, am I watching the right video here?

- At night: Check
- Some unseeable dot of light: Check
- People shouting "OMG what is that?": Check
- Found on youtube: Check
- Very short video: Check
- Shakycam: Check
- Pointing at the ground half the time: Check

Conclusion: Aliens.

I'd have to agree with the street light theory, for 2 reasons. The kid starts laughing for whatever reason the first time he screams it's a UFO, and secondly I have seen multiple street lights that just randomly get brighter all of a sudden. It's not that uncommon considering it's just a light bulb that the state just leaves there until it burns out (at least I've never seen a light bulb replacing truck come down my street periodically..).

Honestly, can't be sure, but it seems more like a hoax than anything...

Hi everyone Im new so could someone tell me how things work, I signed up to comment on the UFO seen from a plane video but it seems to have been locked?

Why because someone says its the Revel Casino? ah well someone says it so it must be.. IT CLEARLY IS NOT THE REVEL CASINO, is that how things work around here, someone gives an explanation and it is accepted and threads locked?

Was this filmed with an old boot?


Looks just like a street light kicking on. To be honest though, the quality is SO bad that it could be a kid hiding on a roof with a flashlight.


It doesn't matter though, this video sucks. Nothing could ever come of this.

To OP - I love the effort you put into making the thread though, shame it's for such an unworthy video. You get an invisible star, as I simply cannot give one for the content.

The fact that someone said it was the Revel Casino was not the only disproving evidence given in that thread. If you read through it multiple people stated that the clouds surrounding the plane were not those you would find around 30k feet, they were more likely 5k feet up in the air and on their descent to land, which would put them in perfect proximity of the Revel Casino to make such a video.

I would urge you to read through all of the comments on that thread, as there was other supporting evidence that the video was not of an UFO at all.

Looks like a light in/or in front of trees.

You can clearly see the foliage.

So it'd have to be minature aliens in a minature ship.

The laughing and the kid pulling back from cussing all add to the impression that this is one of the worst UFO vids i've ever seen.

OP i'm shooting the message not the messenger.

It seems skepticism is taken to the nth degree here.......

is there a reason for the proximity?

Have you considered the possibility that the makers of this video may live in McMinnville and therefore they are much more likely to have heard of the previous case. If there had been a debunk proof UFO sighting in my town it would be a strong motIvation for others living here to 'make up' a sighting.

If that kid really believed he was seeing a UFO he wouldn't have cared about swearing whole his parents were around. The thought to censor oneself would never have ocurred.

Looks like a street light too me. There are two possible reasons for it turning on by itself.

1) I live in the city and there are plenty of mal functioning street lights that go on and off

2) Like some before me said it was being obscured by a tree branch or something like that
