Looking at photos like that really boosts the old confidence.

It interests me that thee women looked so [harsh] much older than they were. Also, most were significantly overweight. The proverbial muffin top existed long before modern times I guess. You always think of women in the teens-1930's being rather waif like and surely poor women wouldn't have excesses of caloric intake at their disposal, but. Almost all of them appeared to be at least 20-30 lbs overweight. That shocks me for some reason.

I'm genuinely disturbed by this thread. LOL!

I love vintage photos but most of these lady's look rough an dirty and aged before there time i don't think makeup would even help..But it was also fun to read about there crimes and the time they received..peace,sugarcookie1

Thanks for sharing. I love old photos. As you can tell by my pic I have a very vintage style. I always feel like modern women don't take as much pride in appearance as they did back then, but these ladies are not what I normally picture.
