I'm just thinking that if they used the proper coloring, we wouldn't have people swearing that rocks are hamsters and things like that. It would definitely take some of the crazy stuff out of the mix

I'm afraid that won't do anything.

There will ALWAYS be "crazy stuff" in the "mix".

It's the people. Not the pictures.

And it's unlikely to impossible that humans originated there. We have the fossil evidence and we also have DNA evidence linking us to the rest of Earth's creatures. So unless you buy off on Noah's ark as a spaceship, no deal.

i could buy into that theory it sounds a interesting possibility.

With all the probes orbiting that planet and the rovers on the surface for years now, we would have seen some type of evidence to support that theory.

We have not.

I would have to disagree as having seen the Mars anomally pictures indicates to me certainly more investigation is required before reaching conclusion whether mars has/had intelligent life once on it.

Mars did have large oceans of liquid water many eons ago. The reason why Mars lost this water is the failing of the Mars Magnetic Field. A planet such as Mars and Earth create a Magnetic Field around the planet which protects the planet from Solar radiation and cosmic rays.

This Magnetic Field is generated by a rocky planets spinning molten liquid metalic outer core. As a planets interior cools this liquid core stops spinning as it becomes more solid. Earth still has a molten liquid metalic core because of an impact with another Mars size planet.

This impact increased Earths core temps. and it is still very hot and thus a spinning liquid to this day. The Mars core has already cooled and thus without a spinning outer core...the Magnetic Field has failed. The failure of this field caused the Mars Oceans to be burned off by bombardment of various forms of radiation.

Such bombardment would also kill any life on the surface and this ment that there was not enough time for the evolution of any intelligent species. Life may still exist on Mars but it would be sub-surface and Microbial in nature.
