So I discovered ATS several weeks ago and have spent countless hours reading every day since. Luckily, I like to read about aliens and the NWO and have managed to, on several occasions, get myself emotionally disturbed/terrified while lying alone in the dark. Despite the fears that aliens are peering at my through my window at night, I have continued to peruse the site daily and I decided tonight would be the night I made an actual account! So hello ATS!

Hey!
Nice to meet you. I have a bit of the same problem. I tend to think a little too much about the topics sometimes leaving me with some anxiety :/.

I know exactly what you mean, I love reading about all of the information on the subjects. But sometimes it is just wayy too much to keep your mind on. It's stuff that is out of your control so it just leaves you with such a deep sense of curiosity on the topic. Maybe one night I can get a good nights sleep without randomly going into deep thought about life. Haha. Hopefully you can too, for mental health's sake.

Welcome to ATS, enjoy your stay.

I too like the Alien thing but have yet to see tangible evidence.

I may one day.....but I am not holding my breath.

Welcome to ATS, ag09g.

In my experience, the Aliens are fairly harmless though.
So, don't be afraid.

Welcome to ATS!

I have realized fear is one of the biggest obstacles to reach a truly happy life. And to get rid of fear of everything including death I believe it is good to cultivate our hearts so no matter which hardship our destinies bring us we are ready to smile at it since we know that we did well while we were alive and we can do nothing more than that.

AM I talking riddles? Sorry if so. I just wanted to tell you that you will find me in fragile earth, paranormal and prophecies. I believe we are in the endtimes and I believe the best defense weapon is to improve our hearts and minds. I cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in Falun Dafa Qi Gong and I recommend people to think about those three words more since it said to be the highest law of the Universe.

I wish you all the best in the future.

Haha the sad part is its not even that Im afraid of aliens doing harm to me, Im just freaked out I might open my eyes one night and see an alien face staring back at me!

Personally, if aliens exist, I would love to meet one. Just preferably during the daytime. and when Im not alone.

OK, I understand what you are saying, ...but I have to tell you this though:

Whatever you do, do NOT read this book by Whitley Strieber:

"Communion"

Communion book on Amazon

If you ever read this book, you will not be able to sleep for a year!

(There was a movie made of this book, but don't waste your time. The movie was terrible, and a complete waste of time !!!)

Anyway, here are some of the interesting reviews that I have seen of this book, posted on Amazon.com:

I got about halfway into the book. Finally, I looked up from the book as I was reading it late one night in my bed and swore that any minute one of these grey creatures would come walking through my bedroom door. Or even worse, they would come through the window that was behind my bed. I had never read a book that scared me so bad (Stephen King's "It" was a close 2nd). In a fit of fear, I through the book across the room where it landed behind the closet door. It lay there for over 6 months before I picked the book up and promptly through it into the garbage.

I made the mistake of reading this alone in bed in an empty house over a period of 2 days - what a bonehead. It scared the bejeesus out of me. Every time the house creaked I was up like a shot with a baseball bat in my hands. Thanks Whitley, for depriving me of a good nights sleep. God knows when I'll ever be able to sleep peacefully again!

I read this book when I was 14, and it robbed me of approximately 3 years of sleep. I've tried to finish it 3 or 4 times, and have never succedded. I've passed it onto countless freinds, all of whom returned it to me, unfinished, scared to have it in the house with them.

The interesting thing is, that to this day, Whitley Strieber insists that this is a TRUE STORY.

If you want to know more about this book, just read some of the Customer Reviews on Amazon.com

Hi ag09g,

I have committed a big disservice to you, by telling you about the "Communion" book by Whitley Strieber.

There are things that you need to know:
There are no aliens, ...only demons.

The abductions that people are experiencing, are real. But the abductions are not done by aliens. The abductions (and nightly visits) are done by demons.

I desperately urge you to have a look at this Youtube video:

"Unholy Communion: The Fourth Kind Unveiled"

In this video, you will hear Joe Jordan speak. He has some excellent information at around the 50 minute mark, and onwards.

Joe Jordan is/was a UFO researcher with Mufon for many years, and he stumbled upon some very important evidence. His point is that "alien abductions" can be stopped in the name of Jesus Christ. And he has many first hand witnesses to back him up.

Joe Jordan also warns that by delving into the alien/UFO phenomenon, you make yourself open to be an abduction victim.

I must also point you in the direction of this excellent post by ATS member Murgatroid, here:
Musing on the Alien/Dimensional/Spiritual conundrum.

Different Subject:
I noticed now that you only have 10 posts here on ATS, even though you have joined ATS exactly one month ago. As you know, you can only start making your own threads once you have reached 20 posts. So, I may have an idea for you on how to reach the 20 posts mark quite quickly: Just go and find other "new member" threads, and wish the new members welcome to this site. That way you will reach 20 posts quite quickly.

Just go to the new member "Introductions" section (forum) here on ATS:
Introductions

Kind regards
QMask

Thanks for the information, Ill have to watch the video/browse the thread!

As far as my posts, I currently have no intentions of creating my own actual threads! Im a quiet child, I enjoy reading about a large variety of topics, but have much less interest in actually discussing such things!
