"Rifle" in Trunk Not a Rifle at All..

So apparently everyone pointing out that the firearm found in the trunk was not a rifle, but a shotgun, was correct.

I recall quite a few members here stating exactly this.
The "media" sure did a great job of muddling this all up.

The article(and title of the video) make a great point about how they badly mishandled that incident. It does look like the officer handling the weapon is wearing gloves, at least.

The media has a funny sort of way of reporting before they have all the facts. I actually had to go back and watch the video a few times so I knew I wasnt seeing things.

Media needs to focus more on getting a story right rather than trying to be the first to air a story, thats how mistakes are made.

Im aware of that. The confusion was with the media reporting that it was a .223 Bushmaster rifle. I knew it was a shotgun which is why I had to watch the video a few times to make sure I was right.
