I have always been interested in how people will look at a photo or drawing and come to some sort of conclusion that there must be a conspiracy behind it. A perfect example of this would be the paintings at the Denver Airport. There has been much talk regarding these and secret societies or the powers that be are giving people hints of the future or thier plans for it.

Personally I am a fence sitter on this but in light of it being New Years Eve (and I am bored), I give you the 2013 picture to play with courtesy of Google Chrome.

Break it down, there is lots to talk about in this one if you look close enough!

Happy New Year!

It appears that Bob Ross will be returning in 2013 to bring havoc.

I know

Like I said in the OP, I am curious to see how many will "read" something into this.

Captain Ahab is conspiring with Dracula to rig the next Olympic Javelin event. You can use a Turing Machine to crack the code and see for yourselves.

When I saw this early this morning, my ATS gears started to turn. Good to know that I wasn't the only one! Nice observation, OP. It may or may not mean anything, nevertheless, I find it interesting , indeed. Happy New Year peeps!

I have no idea what this is.

a dead link to google.

if there is a conspiracy in this, it is rather elusive.

I'm completely baffled. I thought the image was a reference to what it linked to, but on second look it appears it links to random things.

Ahha.

Who needs to be hungover on new years.. I'm permanently brain damaged lol

carry on.

also,

Aliens

I think it's supposed to represent Google being a search engine to allow you to find information on a lot of diverse things.

That's not likely a conspiracy since that's what Google does.

It appears that the New Year's Eve Google Doodle is just a composite of the Google Doodles from throughout the year. If you click on each section, it links to a previous Google Doodle. Kind of a ... year in review of doodles.

They have done some very creative doodles. I especially enjoy the interactive ones.

Correct. depending where you click in the doodle it will take you to the associative doodle earlier this year from within this doodle, hence why there are seemingly all these different links to Google doodles popping up in the thread. Depending on which doodle one clicked on, that's the doodle reference people are seemingly linking in the thread.

Google's already changed to the New Year doodle in my time zone.
It will take a lot of tin-foil hats, but maybe the difference between the two will be significant somehow.

You are taking the fun out of this thread with your logic...this is a "no logic allowed" zone.

The whole point to this thread is to have fun with the picture and see what "conspiracies" you can come up with.
