I stopped looking at RSOE a long time ago.
Due to the way it collects incidents to report, its way too random in what gets shown.
Right now we have a "vehicle incident" at Fort Wayne Airport.
But why that particular one? Is it internationally significant in some way?
Previously they had a BIOLOGICAL HAZARD in Australia.
But reading the description, it was just that police had used capsicum spray to arrest one person.
And of course the "volcano eruption" sourced from Duchy's youtube video.
And three people dying in Swaziland is worthy of mention as an EPIDEMIC HAZARD, yet thousands dying in Somalia doesnt rate any mention whatsoever.
But a non-fatal car crash in Massachusetts does indeed rate as being worthy to announce to the world.
Oh, EPIDEMIC HAZARD in Fiji. There is a rubella outbreak with 3 reported cases in the greater Suva area,
And earthquakes!! How do they decide that magnitude ONE earthquakes should be listed?
Right now I see a 1.3, 1.5, 1.8, 1.5 etc...
To put those on an "Emergency and Disaster" site is a completely retarded idea.
For me, its hard to take it seriously.
