For some...

Whether it may have been a premature birth, a suicide or a long battle with cancer the world did end for that individual, a little part of the world ended for the people they left behind, if the world did end their are things that you are unable to calculate that mean so much to each and every person, as stupid as it seems, the way a leaf blows across the street, the way a forget me not attaches itself to a woolly garment...old people feeding pigeons with "Do not feed the pigeons" signs plastered around them, just to name a few.

If the world did end, it would have been the end of all of us, the suffering the torment that a great number of people deal with throughout their lives sometimes on a monthly, weekly daily basis whether it may be domestic abuse or the bullying in schools, pedophiles taking advantage of impoverished children, Rebels and Assad forces using tit for tat torture to break the...resolve of each others forces? and for what...? Just so that they may live another day...Die another day? Your turn a blind eye to the mother dragging the child down the street by the arm almost out of it's socket, happening in a place you would call home?

Truth be told, we are all dead to the fact that the world is in need of some sort of change, in one way or another for turning a blind eye to the things in this world that could be put to an end if their was some form of collaboration...an understanding...an anything that would change how the world operates.

But then again, being us is what makes us Human.

We're all going to die...all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love one another. But it doesn't...We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities...we are eaten up by nothing.

To hell with the civil libertarians who make it their job to protect people who harm others...To hell with people calling for a ban on guns and yet do nothing else to make the world a safer place, as it is what it is for a reason.

Happy Holidays.

If I am not mistaken the bible says there will be 144,000 people that would be raptured. With the current single day global average death rate of 150 to 155,000 would we even notice?

No one would, no one notices anything these days.

I doubt that girl that was brutally raped in India was one of them nor those 2 dozen or so school children gunned down in an American school, or a kid that my girlfriend knew being knocked unconscious and who has just been taken off his life support. Not any of them, not a still birth not that pedophile Kevin Ferguson who died at his home this week in Australia. None of those 400 people that have lost their lives in the latest swaths of attacks in Syria. The list goes on and yet none of those I think would have been "chosen".
