LOL, I figured that would get a laugh out of you, haha. Thank you for welcoming me...I read quite a number of threads before I joined ATS and I was absolutely petrified at the thought of posting something completely innocent and having someone go off on me and tear me a new one for no reason, so I was hesitant to post but I figured I caouldn't be afraid of the trolls forever, right? I mean, I've gotta grow up sometime, LOL!
Honestly...I can't even figure out how to upload my picture as my avatar, so if you could tell me exactly how I can accomplish that, I would be so grateful!

I, without a doubt, believe that adaptations in the physical form can occur in humans over thousands of years. I believe that since humans developed vestigiality (AKA obsolescence through adaptation/evolution) over thousands of years (in the anatomical forms of the appendix, coccyx, wisdom teeth, vomeronasal organ, Darwin's tubercular, plica semilunaris, hymen, occipitalis minor muscle, vibrissal capsular muscles, palmeris longus muscle, levator claviculae muscle, pyramidalis muscle, plantaris muscle, and extra nipples and breasts; the sensory form of decreased olfaction; the behavioral forms of goose bumps and palmar grasp reflex; and even the genetic form of L-gulonolactone oxidase in the pseudogene), then why couldn't we gain some or all function of some of our body parts (or even form new ones) over time if we are able to lose most or all function of different parts of our body over time?

I just read what I wrote...I hope it doesn't seem jumbled or confusing. What do you think?

Well, you used a lot of big words lol.. I think I understand most of them and I get your point. I started this entire subject in this forum because I felt it was the best place for post of this type. The general idea that I have in my mind is that people report these "Alien Grey's" and by the general description I thought, "Why can't they be natives that live under-ground?" In fact I wonder why there can't be other entities that we just assume are from another planet but actually have been here longer than we realize. If that's the case, then could it be possible that some of these civilizations that we believe to be lost may have actually evolved into something else somewhere else? So your observations supports the idea that a humanoid species could develop differently.

LOL, sorry about all the medical babble...I was just saying that if since so many human body parts have become obsolete and we've gained so much in terms of greater knowledge and mental capabilities over tihousands of years, what's to say that we haven't gained huge physical adaptations over those thousands of years? A good example of how we have changed physically as a species in just a matter of hundreds of years is our significant gains in global average height...on a whole around the world, we have gained several inches in height compared to our ancestors so what else have we gained in our time on this earth?

Ohhh, I see...I didn't understand that your theory was in reference to the "grey alien" sightings til just now (God, I feel like an idiot)...but you do bring up an excellent point. I 100% concur that it's completely feasible that what so many people refer to as "grey aliens" could just be the remnants of an ancient humanoid species that either metaphorically or even literally went underground some millennia ago...your theory is far more plausible than theorizing that they're of an alien race.

If you suggest something like this, IMO, you need to provide a more detailed scenario of how, why and when all this would have or could have occured. Not that I disagree, I just like you to elaborate more.

Here is one that I propose. Aliens, who do not look like humans, came to earth 200,000 years ago. They established a base, took some humanoid samples back home and the aliens who stayed here started building monuments and such. On their home planet they educated the humanoids, did some genetic engineering in order to increase their capabilities, and brought them back here. This is how homo sapiens was born. From then on they used the imrpoved humans as a go-between, interpreters, assistants and the go-betweens were rewarded with titles, power, wealth and so on. That is how the religions started, and they used them to control the general population. The aliens may have expanded on their experiments and created hybrids. The aliens are unable to breath the air on earth and went underground to be more comfortable, where they use their technology to design any kind of environment they like for themselves. Most of their work is performed by robots, and unmanned vehicles. They are still here today and hide themselves with cloaking devices.

They are one of the most dominant species, of thousands of species they have encountered in the universe. Earth is only one of many civilizations they have taken over. They have lots of experience about how to develop primitive animals into an intelligent civilization. They do not seek to destroy humanity, but they may decide to kill hundreds of millions of people if the situation requires it (as it did in the past).

This IMO would explain the phenomena we notice that do not make sense otherwise, including the pictures of hybrids, the apparent presence of human looking aliens, who are really go-betweens, the common mythology between ancient civilizations who had no contact with each other, and including astrology which did not serve any practical purpose.

I suggested that Myth024's theory that the likelihood of the "grey aliens" being native to Earth and an adapted/evolved group of humanoids or one of the millions of known and undiscovered species on this planet is far more plausible than that of all the planets in all of the vast universe, a higly advanced alien race found our planet and focused on our species in our comparative primitivity and complete inferiority in terms of knowledge and capabilities and decided to stay here and waste their time on us at all. I mean, it makes sense to me but there's no telling whether I'd be right in believing Myth024's theory or not.

You posited that the "grey aliens" may have rewarded and may still reward "go-betweens" with titles, power, wealth, etc. How much of the "wealthy and powerful" would you suggest are still actively involved as "go-betweens" and which of the "rich and powerful" would you suggest are still actively involved as "go-betweens"?

Time travel IMO is only possible forward, not backward, in part because of the paradox. Think about it this way. Travelling forward is like isolating oneself from the flow of time as can be done with speed and with gravity. No amount of speed or gravity can make things "undone". If it did it would also have to undo your speed or gravity, thereby stopping your time travel.

Any spacefaring civilization will be infinitely more interested in finding other life forms than anything else. Just look at mankind. Finding life in our solar system is the focus of our quest. Never mind that it will be only microbes. Imagine, in 30 years we would find a planet with dog-sized animals, the excitement by biologists, possible colony, natural resources, and many more. Also not to forget, there are "astronomical accidents" (more than just asteroids) that can wipe out life on any planet and the civilization can ultimately protect itself only by finding alternate home planets.

Yes I believe aliens are here on earth, they live underground, when entering and exiting they make themselves invisible with "cloaking" technology, and they influence and control our daily lives through go-betweens who hold positions in governments.

The problem with stating a conclusion is that is can predispose people to see things that might not be there otherwise. Up till now, I had only indicated a possible theory without drawing a specific line to non-earth origin species. The purpose of this was so that discussion wouldn't go down the track of gray aliens and linking a theory to a specific race. It was my hope that eventually the discussion would warrant bringing this aspect to light as an indication of how I came about the theory. In essence it was to say could X be possible and then later say if X is possible then could that indicate that Y is possible. Your conclusions I've heard before as an explanation to some of the technology the ancient Egyptians had. (electrical batteries and the building of those large pyramid things for example) Some theories hold that the human race was originally a slave race specifically bred to perform specific functions and then left behind. That it's the human race that is not native to the planet and if that's true, then could there be some natives that have evolved differently? So there were various elements that I had thought of and came up with the theory that began this thread. I hope that clears things up some lol.

there is a vid out there called "the cross of thoth"
it shows how the celtic cross was used as a measuring and navigational instrument and shows the astrological symbols used to calculate longditude are on cave walls dated back to about 25,000 plus years ago.

this is why we "cross" an ocean

this cross was used to build the pyramids and is seen under a star chart showing the stars as they were aout 12,000 yeras ago in the videos taken in the sealed shafts by the robot that explored them

Forgive me but I am not clear if you are talking about my theory or something else.

To close this thought up, with all the archeological investigations and scientific inquiry could there be evidence of a civilization specifically hiding themselves from the world in general and could this evidence only make sense if all data is taken together as a whole?
I do believe that my theory responds to your question you raised in the OP. Please let me know if you find it to be off topic. lol

I did not call them grey but the locations are under water where people cannot see beyond some 100 feet.

My thoughts on the "Greys". I have always felt IMHO that the Greys we see today are the result of intelligent Dino's.

they advanced enough to know when the meteor impact in the gulf of Mexico was coming and left the earth, the return trip found the planet populated by intelligent mammals.

how long would it take to make a trip to the stars and back and how advanced would that civilization be upon it's return??

I read a story a few years ago by Clark or Asimov I recall not the author but the story about space exploration, the first ships were over taken by later ships because of the advances that had been made (ie fist ship moves at 1/10 light speed. later ships move at 1/2 light speeds).

Maybe what we think of as "Aliens" are really the original inhabitors of Earth. I have no firm conclusions of this, it's just a gut feeling

(think smart sleestaks, that move faster

What a perfidious way to harm a cause. "intelligent Dino's" and "gut feeling" to accomplish what?

I really don't know what to say to your theory concerning time travel or what to think about it. I have a hard time believing in time travel being possible (though I wish it were possible!) but I think that if it is possible, it would lend great credence to your theory.

Also, I don't believe thedigirati or his theory are perfidious in the least...he simply has his own theory, he isn't attempting to be deceitful.

Just an FYI I'm a He the pic in my avatar is my lovely wife, she reads ATS but is not a member..

and yes it is a personal theory developed over a long and varied reading of history.

and as far as my "gut" feelings, they are rarely wrong... (I'm 51 years old and have never had a speeding ticket, my "gut" feelings tell me when the police are around so I slow down).

I have had what others call physic experiences in the past with family and friends, avoided harm often, when I was in the Marines My fellow Marines learned to follow my "gut instincts" .

I have also been called a prophet, but in my minds eye I wonder if I saw the future or made the future happen because I said it.

this is why I avoid being put in that position in the first place.... Illusions link for better clarity and understanding

the only reason I hold this theory is because of the vastness of space and other factors, the timing is about right.

I have never nor would ever claim to have proof unless I did

We are coming from two very different perspectives. I like rational thought, and knowledge of which the value can be shown to others by providing details that led to the given conclusion.

You seem to be on the psychic side - which is fine, it may be useful for me since I do not have that skill. But you did not state your background/approach prior to my comment (unless I missed it). When you say "intelligent Dino's" (not even using the proper word), I am sorry, to me this is not a serious comment. Nor a useful one. So please, if you really believe in intelligent dinosaurs then tell us why, in a way the readers can understand it. What does it even mean? When did they exist, or do they still? Any physical evidence? Tell us what your abilities allowed you to perceive that most of us cannot.

If the readers cannot get your point then what is the use?

P.S. Let me express my respect for your service to our country.

Oops, sorry! I just edited and fixed it. Your wife looks VERY lovely, LOL...please don't take offense to that, I'm a woman and in no way hitting on your wife, LOL. I wish I knew how to upload an avatar...any way you could let me know how you uploaded yours?

Yeah, I didn't think perfidious was a just characterization of why you stated your theory or your intentions in stating your theory. You're entitled to your theories and opinions just as much as anyone else is. It's always interesting to hear about another person who has "extra" abilities...I'd love to hear more about you and your experiences. And thank you so much for your service to our country.

My outlook on anything and everything is that with infinite possibility comes infinite probability...anything is possible and in regards to the subject of "grey aliens" and their origins, I have absolutely no way of knowing what is more probable than anything else so I'm in no position to dismiss or accept any theories, I'm only in a position to theorize and listen to the theories of others.

I believe it is natural to "wish" time travel to be possible. All the more you/we need to be careful not to believe in something for which there is no real evidence/indication. But this is not to discourage from continuing to look.
