I've come up Dr. Dan Burisch before, but after reading his contradicting Bio on UFO watchdog I became a bit sceptical and put most of his info aside. Now I became interested again, but I'm still unsure if he's the real deal.
Here's the main problem, he claims to have a PhD in microbiology from SUNY but on here it says otherwise. Disinfo overlying disinfo?
Who knows.

However I've found photos claiming to show his degrees, the problem is the picture quality. So if you would like to try to help:
1) go to his Homepage
2) scroll down to "DATELINE — Sept 20, 2005 Edmonton, Alberta", it's pretty much on bottom of the site
3) have a look at his pics

Might be hard, as maybe not enough data in the photos. Any one here a pic specialist?

So, may I ask, are you wondering if his degree is real?

Or if his story is real?

And if the degree is real, will you then put more credence in his story?

Thanks.

Ed. Very well, sorry to stray.

I realize that this may not make much sense to you, but I am going to go for it anyway.

The internet is a closed loop and the noose is tightening. Dan Burisch's story is significant because it is such a flagrant failure. When a weaponized meme such as Dan's fails that spectacularly, it takes a bunch of people with it.

See project Serpo as example prime.

And because of the nature of the web, the debris from the resulting explosion sort of gets frozen in place for analysis.

So, if you would like to begin pulling on a thread that will productively help you to start to unravel this sweater, then go to Google Images, type in 'Dan Burisch Eagles Disobey", and look at the cast of characters that accompany Burisch on the page. Make a list of names.

Then read this thread.

Good luck.

That's offtopic but okay. I was wondering if both & either/or are true. If his degrees are real, then that gives a bit more credibility to his story.

Ed:
Yeah I know Serpo & co, that never sounded legit to me, that's what I typicaly call "Camelot standard"
, thanks for the link. Any success on the pics so far?

As long as there are people who can read the UFO Watchdog article and STILL come away believing Burisch is legit, he will have an ample supply of believers who will drink the Kool Aid and funnel him money.

As long as there are people believing completely in "authority" this world will be a better place

Son, we're trying to help you here. You are obviously new to Burisch. It's not like he's new to us. We've been over and over and over again with Burisch's story (or is it Crain?) over the years. We've been there and done that. We've heard him talk, seen his writing, seen his variable web sites with changing testimony over a decade now. Did he get a PhD, or was it a D.L.? Or did he buy it? He's said all three at one time or another. People have researched his story. It doesn't add up. About all Burisch has ever done is be a security guard and a parole officer. We have his records. We have his resume. We even have a book his own mother wrote before he disavowed her. You can't just show up and throw all that out. Sorry.

UFO Watchdog is a pretty good summary. but there's a lot of information right here on ATS in DOZENS of threads. I suggest you avail yourself of some of them. Use the search engine. Type in Burisch, and you have enough reading material for a couple of days. If after all that you still feel compelled to believe Dan Burisch, knock yourself out. Maybe you can even become the next Michael Horn and make a living out of it. but don't expect much slack-jawed drooling enthusiasm over Burisch on this site.

Thank you for your concerns. Did you have had any success with the pics by the way?

You are obviously new to Burisch

Let's say I came across him before, but as I said in my first post I found some new interest.

You can't just show up and throw all that out. Sorry.

Did I? All I'm asking for is help with the pics. Did I make myself unclear? If yes, sorry.

Oh knock it off, I'm not going there

You mean the ones that give you a 404 error? How convenient. The front pic is of a third of a document that purports to be his PhD, but it is so blurred as to illegible. I think you would really have to work hard to get a pic that far out of focus. Even an autofocus point and shoot could do a better job. Plus they say right on there that it is a copy. How hard is it to take a picture of a flat piece of paper?

The thing is, even if you did get a pristine copy or manage somehow to use image enhancement software to see what it really said, it wouldn't prove a thing. What you need is an original, with a college seal. Real proof would be an acknowledgement from the college Registrar that Dan Boy really did earn the degree. Lance Moody had very good luck writing to MIT regarding the advanced degrees claimed by Phil Imbrogno. Kevin Randle gives the particulars here. Turns out Imbrogno never attended MIT.

If you click on "Click" it gives you a 404. If you try to circumvent that by going to the image gallery itself, just a bit down the page, it gives you a front page, but none of the sections give you anything but a 404. The images are gone. The three other galleries: Nevada, Science, and Entity, all give you 404 errors. Of course, the site is old. It doesn't look like it has been updated since 2006 or so. Given the lack of evidence, i don't think there is any good reason to beleive this guy has a doctorate. as I said, avail yourself of the many threads on here about Burisch for days of reading pleasure.

Thank you for your thoughts on that. I was trying Iris on the pics but to no avail.

Edit:
My guess is that a PhD (evident/absent/type) really seems to be some sort of early warning for these kinds of cases. Love the one you shared, Randle

Academic wise it seems bad for Mr. Burisch, his PhD seems faulty. "Comments on the Dan Burisch SUNY Doctorate Diploma: Notice the consistent print font and print layout of actual SUNY diplomas from various campuses issued from 1983 through 2002. A portion of the Burisch doctorate diploma is shown at the top left. Unfortunately, the area of the document where the seal of SUNY would appear is cut off, perhaps by design. Many universities use the type font on the Burisch document for diplomas, but not SUNY. This is definitive proof that the diploma document itself is a fake. Supporting the fact that no one employed by SUNY can verify Dan Burisch's attendance at, or graduation from, SUNY Stonybrook".

i first saw a Dan Burisch video years ago and i must admit he gave off the strongest 'professional BS' vibes i have ever encountered. IMO he is quite clearly a story teller after money or fame.

VeniVidi
Here is a page that I believe has some updates on him. Not sure how current it is. I quit reading about him because I personally believe that he is a fraud.

www.danburisch.info...

Just checked it..Looks pretty out of date..

I think Dan Burisch was put out there to plant disinformation to counter the truth that was released by Bill Uhouse.
There are few other stories ever where someone 'disclosing' information has a random other person with 'credentials' on the face of it 'support' their theory.

Therfore I'm convinced that Dan is a plan, but Bill is correct.
