I think they should replay the original "In Search Of" series.
Thats what started it all off, and is still the best

I'd say Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World, was the forerunner and the best.

Awesome, I love this show. I'm ready to become obsessed with the next season. I've watched every episode already.

I really enjoyed the first episode of the season. I don't know if I believe any of it, but I love the journey the show takes you on to places people don't usually get to hear about. I like that concept! Plus, I'm a sci-fi junkie, so the theories they have are pretty cool to imagine. Those worm holes or whatever would be a great movie.

This is the first time I've seen Ancient Aliens, I thought it was very interesting.
I do believe the "gods" were aliens, it's the only thing that makes sense to me, I'm not into any kind of religion, I just never believed in that.

I didn't know about the top of the pyramids having eight sides, that reminded me of a game we played as kids with folded paper, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

The pyramids drawing energy could be true, if as some people think, the cap stones were alien space ships then that could be how they powered their crafts to make the journey home. That's what came into my head as I was watching it.

wait, so season 5 is going to have actual evidence?

I think the original episode(s) were great, but theyve already grasped at every straw

I thought this episode was really interesting and full of different angles on the general theories of how the Pyramids were built. I think the main message which was conveyed was that there are so many of these structures all around the World.

The ones in China are the most amazing and the question why did the Chinese Government try and conceal them?

First of all, the "Bloke with the Hair" who consistently uses the "it must be aliens'" expression is Giorgio A Tsoukalas. Unfortunately for Giorgio, with a style of hair that suggests that he cuts it himself, he comes across as a bit of a weirdo but this, I believe, is part of the plan not to take these 'theories' too seriously by the powers that be.
If these 'theories' were true they would destroy religion altogether and that simply cannot be allowed to happen. Religion, to the believers, is their faith, their rock and in many cases the only thing they have to cling to and brings them much comfort in their hours of need. To suggest that these 'theories' hold some truth would be catastrophic to religious believers all over the world.
I believe that there is much we have yet to learn about our past and particularly the Pyramids. Despite modern day computer enhanced investigations into 'why and how' they were built we are no nearer today to finding out their secret than we were in the beginning.
I also believe that there is a lot being suppressed so as not to cause panic but I also believe that, thanks to shows like Ancient Aliens, small snippets of information designed to cause people to perhaps rethink their beliefs, are being released. These 'snippets' can also be dismissed as BS by the believers so as not to stir the hornets nest.
I believe the Vatican made a statement to the effect that followers should not dismiss the idea that life could exist in other worlds.

I don't like people who bash the Ancient Alien serious because it conflicts with there beliefs or because their a hardcore science person. It's childish.

These people travel the world and do their research and they love what they do. At the same their trying to make connections and understand the past and maybe even the future better.

Stay open minded and dynamic. Have some variety.

Thats their problem, not the problem of people who are actually intelligent. If the theories are real, nobody would give a flying you-know-what about religion being destroyed. The truth is the truth.

# Ancient Aliens. Why the hell must pyramids have been built by Aliens. Yes they had advanced math, but every society through out history has born people that change the course of math.. These people were building cities, like the ones we have today, only with out the materials of today. The idea that aliens were helping out is ridiculous. its just the only way to build a large structure with only stone is to make it a pyramid. I would by the idea that aliens helped out if they had skyscrapers with steel beams. Moronic garbage, every time i watch that show I get pissed off.

People who bash the show because "theY'RE a 'hardcore science person'" aren't being childish, they're criticizing the outrageous claims, the poor level of research and the failure of the show to make a logical argument.

There IS a logical argument for the 'ancient aliens' hypothesis. There is real evidence that make it a *plausible* hypothesis. If this show stuck to purely these things, 'hardcore science people' wouldn't have a problem with it.

Science is a process that must be done thoroughly and truthfully. This is the only way to build an argument that people can reasonably be expected to accept.

I'd also like to point out that they worshiped stars back then, that would explain any "crazy placement" of these pyramids. These people were not monkeys. They had generations of knowledge passed down, and they used it. This Alien theory crap is a great dream.

I agree, you have people like Einstein that changed the world of math. But not so long ago people believed the world was flat and that man could not fly. I often think about how someone from the 1500's would view our world today. We have computers, cell phones, video chat, cars, planes etc. A very different world. Why is it so hard to believe that aliens visited this world in our ancient past. How else would man of that time describe what he saw, they would describe it in contect to what they know. A flaming chariot in the sky. I am not saying that got does not exist. I believe that he does, just maybe he is an alien and if not someone had to create aliens.

this show is a massive disinformation exercise. You'd be better off watching doctor who and star trek if you are looking for facts.

tip: do not believe all that you are told. Every "expert" on this show is a scam artist that bends fact, conveniently forgets big chunks of evidence and basically lies outright, then runs off to the bank laughing.

if you think what i've said is untrue, then you should definitely do your own research outside of the circles of these charlatans. I can guarantee you'll back off from AA theory once and for all as all your "smoking guns" will turn into water pistols

There would be mass suicides all over the world. Some people would have lost all that they lived for.
The 'powers that be' would have to handle this situation with the utmost delicacy - or are they already doing that.

Whereas it is common sense to believe that a 'pyramid' is the logical shape to build it was the preciseness that has staggered everyone and let us not forget that the Egyptian pyramids had eight sides (each side slightly beveled inwards) to accommodate a curved finish on each of the sides. (Some say this conforms with the curvature of the Earth.) The highly polished finish and engraving (long since lost) is something so exceptional (and for what reason) that it is very difficult not to believe that a higher intelligence did not have something to do with it.

I don't think that most of the people who bash this series are doing so based on religious beliefs or because they're "hardcore science" people. It's because there's no real evidence to back up the claims.

Look at the commercials starring Giorgio showing the Hindu God Ganesh. Why would the Hindu people have an elephant headed God? Hmmm, there are elephants in India, perhaps someone came up with the idea that there is a God with the head of an elephant. Pretty simple explanation and, usually, the simple explanation is correct. But, for Giorgio, he has to show a picture of a fighter pilot with an air hose. So, it stands to AA reason that these Aliens who have travelled millions of light years have basically the same technology that we have today. Star Trek uses better technology!

Ancient mankind did not have TV or radio, they had the world around them and the stars in the sky. They were masters of watching both and tried to figure it out the best they could with what they had to go on. Calendars were based on these observations and NOT aliens...IMHO.

The ancient aliens idea is at least plausable and easy to understand, but all this show has ever done has weaken that plausability - every guest is a crank.

Just watched the episode and it was pretty good. I liked the part at the end about the hyperspace pyramid. It's a shame no one has tried to continue that guys work with the model pyramid. My cousin is studying electrical engineering, maybe I can convince him to try to make a model of our own!

Even though it is Anicent Aliens its still good to see stuff on the Bosnia pyramids hit mainstream maybe now more attention will be paied to the 12,000 year old concrete that the mountain(or hyperspace ship) is made up of
