Just a bit correction about the quote from Quran.
Bowing in here mean to acknowledge that Adam is superior than the rest.
Iblis is not an angel but a djin, he think he is better just because Adam as human have the lowest physical body, same level as animal, so he doesnt
know how Adam can be better.
The story before that is a competition to mention stuffs in the sky/ heaven that only Adam can know more than the rest. But it is not the reason why
iblis didnt want to bow.
Satan in islam is not a name or person, but a group that can be from djin or human, not from angels. To become a satan, one must die first and ask
delay for punishment until armagedon day.
The rest of the story is about to prove what God said, if human is better than angel and djin. In the end, people who have this quality than better
than angels and djin will inherit paradise.
Bowing to Adam still happen till these days. It mean some angels and djin still acknowledge the superiority of some human, but it is not like in the
first competition,not about knowledge anymore.
