3 days to go....let's do something about it!!

This is directed at both people who don't believe anything will happen, and people who do.
Let's try to be the best people we can be the next 3 days! Let's try to have unconditional love for everyone!
The way we've all been living hasn't been working, end of the world on Friday or not.
But you know, just in case, why don't we all try to be perfect the next three days? I don't think it can hurt.
and what if God truly comes down and judges us? Basically, we have nothing to lose by partaking in this, and everything to gain.
Let's all live how we ought to be living.

For me the Winter Solstice has always been what I have considered the True end of the year. It marks the turning point when the day (daylight) finally stops decreasing and afterwards becomes increasingly longer until summer again. I will be definitely be celebrating the end of longer nights and the beginning of longer days. This is usually always a difficult time of year for everybody with or without hoildays. It is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one.

But this year we are ( According to the Mayans) about to end and begin an even larger cycle which involves 1000's of years.

Nobody seems to really know why this date was chosen but there is plenty of speculation. As far as I can glean there is no special solar or planetary alignment to speak of which seems strange considering the Mayans were such good Astronomers and time keepers.

There is talk of galactic alignments but how does one really determine an exact galactic plane?

I will be living my life as usual and I am stocked up on Booze and Munchies.

But I will be watching, waiting and wearing a clean pair of underwear in case something unusual does happen.

I was thinking more like having a big party, you know, a one in five thousand years kind of party, when you need few years to recover from it...
Anyway, I'll try to be even more nice and loving than usual, just in case somebody's counting.
But can we have the party afterwards?
