With Age comes Wisdom...

This Gentleman Speaks with TRUE WISDOM. His government and TEPCO are fools not to listen to and accept such a gracious offer. This organization of well seasoned experts are willing to save the lives of it's country's youth and protect the future generations of his people by exposing themselves to Fukushima's radiation instead of allowing younger workers to do this dangerous work. The only reason that TEPCO would not take advantage of this opportunity is that they are hiding ALOT from the rest of the world.

Excuse me?!!!! You think it's a good idea that older people commit what amounts to mass suicide in order to 'save' younger people? With all the world's older, wiser people out of the way, the young will have a ball, won't they? And we all know what the aftermath of the young having a ball is like. But just in case you don't, it's a godawful mess that the young will do anything to avoid having to clear up. Who needs weapons of mass destruction when the unsupervised young inherit the earth?

This plan has been around for a while. In Japan, feelings of self sacrifice is normal for Japanese culture. It takes a bit of getting used to in order to live in Japan long term.

Now, this man brings up many good points. The biggest one is that the reason TEPCO cannot handle the Fukushima NPP is that TPECO is a private company is their main goal is profit. They want to sell energy, not burn though margin by cleaning up such a massive problem as Fukushima NPP. It is simply the nature of a private for-profit company. So yeah, we need TEPCO worker`s but not TEPCO HQ.

Now, TEPCO has been taken over by the Japanese government. Which pretty much means that government officials have been put into key positions within the company. This creates several problems in and of itself. TEPCO is still considered a for-profit company and the J-gov does have a plan to return TEPCO to the private sector. So, tax payers are paying to rebuild a for-profit company; this is not moral but it is happening.

I like this man`s idea much more than the government simply taking over the company for the short term. Fukushima division should be totally removed from TEPCO and handled as a national project. The problem in doing this is that Fukushima NPP is considered as private property of TEPCO so the government would have to either `steal` it or buy it.

On the issue of vets working at the plant, it is a good idea. He lays it out very logically using science to explain why elders working at the plant is better than having younger workers at the plant.

I really think its a problem that is beyond Japan... it's now global. The amount of damage potential is mind boggling
