Hell is on Earth

Hell is on Earth.

Hell is in the hearts of men, as Heaven is there also. Yet we only the smallest fraction of both extremes and we choose where we would rather reside as our actions we make take us to heavenly or unholy states of mind.

We could either Love and be loved or Hate and be hated; we use either ill will or good will; we act out of selfishness or selflessness. Our state of mind, thought, and happiness is a result of these.

We either choose to live according to our soul or our prideful ego, with all of its ill intention and desires which are unwholesome to our souls. Our souls which are malnourished reproach reproach us when we live not by God's law, but by the law of the self, which is to obtain for the self, to trample others for a selfish comfort, and to look towards our Animal self and please it.

The soul of man is everything in man which is not animal. And to become a spirit we must adhere to God's Spirit, and do everything we can to deny ourselves of unwholesome desires which do not function towards God's desire for our souls.

If you would want to learn about have Divine Union with God, I advise you to read Ascent to Mount Carmel
by St. John of the Cross. This book tells of the journey of man through the night of sin and the arrival of the Day of the Lord, where our hopes are filled with Divine Union. It goes over the effects which sin has on the soul, and how to purify the soul.

Funny you don't read the Bible because the real answers are in there, not what you 'think' you understand.

i totaly agree with this , im in now way religious but lets be fair , everything that happens in the world , is exactly how hell is described. good thread

There is precious little description of "Hell" in the Holy Bible, and "Hell" means "the grave" anyway. Our common (mis)conception of Hell comes from pagan sources, the pagan Scandinavian "Hel," the Greek Hades, and the Latin Inferno. If you dig into it, you will find that our ideas of Hell are based not only on pagan sources, but more recently, in FICTION, whether it is epic poetry by Dante or Milton, prose accounts lacking proof, or EweToob vids, again lacking proof.

Don't use the excuse of saying that hell is on earth. There is no hell on earth. Earth is just earth, and society is society. This is how we made it. Don't blame it on something els. It's our fault, we made this mess, deal with it and change yourself, it starts by you, me and us, and every other conscious on this planet.

Actually few people must have read this thread and just made a reply based on the title. Hell is in the hearts of men as through sin they make their own life a living hell, as their consciences constantly reproach them
