Explanation of the Mayan Prophecy and Calendar

My suspicious is that people will still panic.

In my opinion, this is an event that fearful people will latch on to and it will pass without incident. The Sun is at the top of the 11 year cycle and it's at it's lowest part of that cycle in the last 50 years. There's no mystery planet cruising through space at us, because we would have seen it by now and it'd be the brightest spot in the sky by now...
