Help Request: 90's Illinois Sighting

I thought I’d ask for help here since I’m no research whiz and I’ve had success in the past with helpful members. I have tried myself with no results.

On a winter night in the mid-90’s I received an irate call from a close friend [and neighbor]. I was annoyed at his tone so I let the answering machine handle it. He was ranting about something in the sky and lights on the snow. I didn’t think much of it, but eventually decided to call him back for details. What he told me was that there was something hovering above the clouds, which were extremely low that night [in the hundreds of feet range]. It was illuminated with multicolored lights which were reflecting off the snow. In retrospect I should have picked up when he called, as I missed the whole thing.

I still didn’t give it much thought until, over the next few days, I started hearing of other witnesses, some on the other side of town who had an even better view from a distance. Pretty sure there was some mention of it in one of the local papers or on the news, but can’t for the life of me find anything. Apparently the “object” was hovering over an old house, which turned out to belong to the music teacher of the brother of the guy who called me about it in the first place. Details weren’t visible through the clouds directly beneath the object, but on the other side of town people could see above the low cloud/fog cover.

This happened on a winter evening around ‘94 or ‘95 – sorry, but I don’t know exactly which year [had to have been between ’92 and ‘96 at the most], but it was winter. The location was Wheeling, Illinois above Aptakisic Rd. and McHenry Rd..

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I myself saw one hovering over a neighbors house silently one winter evening in Buffalo Grove, IL. Ironically some years later I was talking to a friend who also saw the same UFO and identified which house it had hovered over - being that I had never said which house it was. They do exist. The Bible even describes them. See King James Bible.

That's gotta be it! Within a mile of where my buddy said he saw it, and in the correct direction from where we lived, 2 miles southeast of there.
