Another Gas Line Explosion this time in West Virginia ~ Several Houses Destroyed

Ok this is the 4th major gas line explosion recently and no explanation as too why its happening. Reports are coming in that the flames reached 100ft high and so far no deaths have been reported.

6:32PM EST December 11. 2012 - SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (AP) — Four homes went up in flames and collapsed in charred heaps Tuesday after a natural gas line exploded in an inferno that raged for at least an hour, melting guardrails and pavement on a swath of Interstate 77. Five other homes had extensive external damage, and several people were treated for smoke inhalation, but authorities said there were no fatalities and all residents had been accounted for. "We've been very fortunate," said Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, who toured the damage then briefed the media. "They were just lucky enough not to be home." Most were at work. One man had just left to go hunting, he said. State Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Baylous said a slight risk of a secondary explosion remained, so people who had initially been told to stay inside nearby homes were later urged to evacuate.

The very first thing to do is to check the age of the installations.....
Nothing lasts for ever....
Imagine whats in store for us f these buried pipes have a lifespan that is comming fast to an end...!
The natural gas pipes are buried everywhere...(Call before you dig)
Engineers tout their projects and materials....
But things change.......Pipes that would last for fifty or even 100 yrs are reaching their expirey dates everywhere across america...and they will expire!...not if but when....
Put that in yer pipe and smoke it.........!
This is an increasingly possible scenario!
What must be done is to recalculate the lifespans of the different pipe lines in the light of new knowldge and technology!
Fifty years ago somebody claims this will last 100 yrs...but doesnt take into acount the acidity of some of the soils it passes through...
Some of the line may be leaching away in different conditions...
Industrial wastes are entering the ecology including the underground circulation of water this spreads contaminations.
The emplacement of older technology is not suffiently monitored to eliminate these problems....
Included in the estimation of causitives could be slow land slip...which stresses the line over long time spans and the weakest part of it parts and explodes....
Lots of other infrastructure needs replacing soon...why not the gas line of older installation dates....??


I dont suppose the expandin earth theory will fly here but hey...just saying..
earthquakes, Nibiru or the death star companion whatever...may be changin the ravitic picture of the solar system...

Ok. That one question reminded me of an article I read last year.

Makes me wonder if this test is happening and the frequency shifts could be a factor in some of this??

The simple fact is the ground under our feet moves and shifts. Water lines break all the time so do gas lines.
Power and telecommunication lines generaly don't break because there are loops and coils left in the lines to ajust to the movement.

I think we have a serious problem here. Seems to be a lot of problems with these gasses lately. With all the fracking they are doing are they causing more settlement issues that cause stress leaks in the pipes? Either that or the lines are going to need to be replaced all over, something we cannot afford right now with the state of the economy. It will create jobs though
