All the more points to you, Flyersfan. For her to be able to appreciate beer as much as a good wine makes her a more accomplished person. I've always loved people who can do the beer and wings thing as much as the fine cuisine restaurant thing.

I was glad to see that she was drinking out of a glass rather than straight from the bottle.

I don't care if Heinz Kerry drinks beer, wine, gin or cough syrup. But I do worry that because she is obnoxious when she is sober she could get totally out of control when she's drunk! If she is first lady I'm sure that there will be quite a few occassions where she is at a dinner party with important people and after a few drinks ends up calling them idiots or scumbags!

It's interesting to see how Congress and the other
politicians dealt with a First Lady who was obviously
challenged in the mental health area.

I wasn't aware of the fact that Teresa Kerry had any sort of mental health problems. I just assumed that she was lacking refinement and was a potty mouth! Does she have some sort of diagnosis?

Very good question. The answer is a well guarded secret.
A month ago she collapsed out on the campaign trail and was
'hospitalized' overnight. Prior to the collapse, she was talking
with some people and she put her hand to her head and said
'oh, my medication' ... she acted spacy for a minute and then
continued on talking. People around her said she was kinda
blathering.

The 'official' story is that she had a stomach ailment that required
an overnight stay.

It is thought that she is on mood medications to even out her
personality and moods. At this point it is just educated speculation
around the internet. It isn't known if she is fully bi-polar, of if she
is just suffering from the rich woman syndrom of taking valium
to even out moods, or other anti-depressants.

The Kerry's won't fully release medical records (as is the custom)
so we probably won't know exactly which medicaitons she is on
until this election process is over.

(the truth of the drugs JFK was on didn't come out until 40 years
after he died.)

I don't know how much truth or spin is in the story of Ms. Kerry's ailments, but if it were true... well, it wouldn't be the first time. President William McKinley's wife was an epileptic, and he managed to keep her out of the public eye and save her reputation.

Also, didn't Colin Powell give up his bid for the Presidency because the media were starting to dig into his wive taking antidepressants?

No wonder she's a fly-off-at-the-mouth idiot! She's drunk half the time and the other half she's on tranquilizers!

She needs to be committed to an insane asylum. There's no hope for her.

I not against her for drinking a beer or two. I'm against her for flaunting it. She's suppose to be campaigning for her husband.

Now I have just a little bit of pity for Kerry, which I didn't have any before! Maybe she's the reason that he flip-flops around so much. He'll say one thing one day and get hell raised at him by her and then change it around the next day just to satisfy her. He'd be bettewr off without her IMO.

Who knows? I've witnessed many alcoholic wives' actions against their husbands and it's not a pretty sight.
