I sort of understand where you're going.. But people believe something happened that was more than just the crash of a weather balloon at Roswell that day. The more evidence of any kind, the better for them. All i'm going to say about the incident is that i doubt it was just a weather balloon. Now, on to my real reply to what you posted.

Whether this recording is to be trusted is, of course, yet to be seen. But think about it.. you're asking what THIS information/recording will do? Probably not a great deal. But if we were to think that about every little bit of evidence then we would never get anywhere... with anything?! It's unlikely we will ever know what happened that day without the information being officially released, of course. But you can't blame people for trying. More evidence means more investigation however big or small, and that's only a good thing, right? And who knows, the more evidence, the more pressure mounts for the truth to come out. (of course unlikely, but people can hope )

You know how these threads work. You know what they are about. The OP gave something for us to discuss. Saying 'But what good is this really going to do?' seems redundant. Has anything that has been posted posted here ever made a real difference to the Alien/UFO conspiracy? No, we just like to talk about it and learn. The whole topic is a mystery so to expect a Alien/UFO post to make a difference is short sighted.

In this case we have to look at what is simple. It is better for these men to have not told anybody that they didn't trust, which means they are not going to tell the radio stations or the general population.

at this point in our existence if "they" had a press release tomorrow with original photo's, their negatives, video proof, an actual living alien from "the crash" that's been living on the area 51 base since '47, his or hers space craft, written affidavits from every single person involved from "the crash" we wold STILL be here posting about how they're lying because we'll never believe anything they'd tell us.. we're just gonna have to wait until aliens are seen by ourselves at the local laundry-mat washing their crusty undies. for the life of me i can not understand why we still keep clambering on about how the gov is covering something up HA i bet they get a laugh out of us every waking moment about how stupid we truly are.

Could you mean...
Did they really come from Zeta Reticuli?
Were they based on Earth or on the Moon?
Were there 2 saucers?

Because in 1947... it happened for real.

In 2012 no real evidence remains. Thats why the reasources that people dump into Roswell could be better used if focused on more resent events (the more credible CE3/4 events from the 70's on up)

You mean there is no evidence for anyone on the outside. Of course evidence remains. They are not going to throw away anything. It will be locked up tight.
