Strange events concerning Dec 22nd 2012- Maybe a good idea to read this. Maybe not

I find these subjects very interesting.... love reading it. I do not believe it, however. I do think that his mother may believe it completely if that much is true, but after working a decade in a level 1 trauma center and with the prosecuting attys office.... Ive seen all sorts. Posturing and religious/spiritual experiences are indications of many wholly physical origins.. and not only ascension candidates and such.

Saying that and having been interested in these subjects for about 25 yrs... and loving thinking outside of my own belief system at times to see what Ill find:

If there is such a thing, not everyone would *choose* to ascend. Some may even be incapable of ascension just by their nature.. and I dont mean "less spiritually evolved"... I mean by choice or nature of their construction.
An example: I am not a xtian, but I do believe in a supreme being and was raised around christianity in its various forms among other belief systems within my family. I can not believe more in a supreme being than I do.. not even seeing it would make it more solid in my mind.. if you believe, you just believe. There is the issue with salvation/being chosen.. and some of us can simply not "capitulate" . We certainly would take great offense and actively reject an against our will ascension.. unless we were given a new job, I guess. But just a sudden snatching.. not cool. Some would not only choose to stay behind, but would be created to stay behind... just by their/our nature.

Thinking about these things is good IMO. Believing with no critical thought is Heaven's Gate-ish.Besides, Comet Ison is much more spooky than a planetary alignment and an unfinished calendar.

Thanks a lot for your post. I understand you aren't for this event, and to be honest I did for a moment consider psychological problems a possibility, I think around the first day or two. But then it became very obvious that this wasn't the case.

Ewok, if none of this actually happens, I hope you will post after the fact and not pull a Harold Camping...start saying the date was off, etc.

Irrelevant. It's a story based on experiences. Regardless of the forum, it is here now, and I expect people to treat it as a story whether it was here or elsewhere.

I definitely will not. My intentions are honest, and if I'm wrong, come the 23rd I will openly admit my wrongdoing and re-evaluate my understanding of things completely. I'm a pretty open-minded person.

Well Ewok, I posted my question twice here. And once you asked me to pm so I did. Never did you answer my question. Seems you only answer simple, vague questions or trolls. Ill try once more. How does one know if they will be one of the people to make the transition? You mentioned contact, but what exactly does that entail?

Relax man. I get a lot of PMs. Sorry if I missed yours. She says beings from other worlds, spirit guides, angels, even God will have contacted these people, who will have then tried to get in touch with as many people as they were instructed to.

Contact does not entail you contacting anyone. Either a light-worker or the higher order beings will contact you. I hope that answers your question man. Let me know if you need anything else answered.
