Men Think Women Who Look Like Them Are Totally Hot

In a disturbing new sociological twist, that thing where dogs look like their owners might have something to do with how guys deem certain women more attractive than others. According to a study from a French research team at Institut des Sciences de l'Evolution de Montpellier printed in MedicalXpress, homogamy plays a large role in male mate selection. 100 men were asked to indicate which, of a selection of feminine faces presented to them were the most attractive. A second group of men were called in for a more specific test that involved digital manipulation of some of the images to resemble the individual men more closely—and, of a set of four faces, 37% of the men picked the face which shared the most features with theirs. The researchers also analyzed photographs of real-life couples, and sure enough, each one shared more facial traits than two random individuals would.

Have you never noticed that sexual partners often share the same unusual nose, chin or other distinctive feature?

Both men and women apparently find members of the opposite sex attractive if they resemble their own family and by extension themself.

It isn't just men who like partners to look like themself. The fairer sex do too.

Yes, this is true for some people......They obsess with their own looks and so might seek them in their partner....
Some guys are freaky.

This kinda explains why identical twins tends to marry another identical twins...

Old couples when they get old they also seem to resemble each others personality...

I have never got the idea why couples like to wear same kind of clothing.. i think its totally absurd is that to give sign to other people this man/woman is mine lol.

Im small and hubby is tall, it would look very bizarre if he would like to wear my dresses

Only word to describe those "bodybuilders" without sixpack is SAD

I've done my observations and I don't think it is so, maybe for a certain people but not for me. The girls I like don't seem to resemble a lot of my body features. At least that's what I think, I could be wrong of course.

I'm old, fat, bald, ugly, and only have one tooth

BUT, I prefer young, slim, attractive women with at least two teeth.

I think they were comparing facial features.

Not many guys are attracted to women with lots of body hair, pot bellies and big Adam's apples. At least not the ones I know anyway.
