I never read one of those magazines....but those were the greatest covers ever.

These are just amazing and how nice of you all to do this! I would love an avatar but I would have no idea what I would even want (hence using my own picture). Any prompts to help me choose a good avatar?
ETA-I am an astronomy nerd.Is that a good starting point?lo

Cheers, but don't get too excited, it might be my last for another two months.

Uber busy with a new business venture that has taken off beyond anything I expected, so there's just no time for anything creative atm, unless you count painting three massive sheds and putting new signage up. I was lucky to have an afternoon off and this one spoke to me for some reason, so I had a crack.

Did feel good making up an av though, pretty rusty...

I still try to lurk every day, always check out the artwork, and as always it is A grade material.

Luckily I'm back from 6 1/2 days a week to five now, and from 14 hour days back to about 10. I am enjoying it immensely though, so it doesn't seem much like work, although it does drain my time, especially the behind-the-scenes, never ending piles of paperwork side of the business.

Hopefully I will be able to start contributing a bit more to the thread, I did enjoy making an av for someone, and it's been a while since I created something digitally, something I'd like to get back into regularly.

But I was happy to see you pop up in this thread again. I'm glad that what you got going on is invigorating you. That is what life's all about.
