America isn't hated worldwide.

The USA isn't too popular with the Taliban and other assorted terrorist groups but then who is? Such people hate the West and everything it stands for.

Dude, no-one hates America.. We hate the people that made that poor guy do what he did.. But with that, my government are no better also. The people need to band together somehow and sort this sh!t out ourselves.

No, people dislike (hate is a bit strong) America for a lot of reasons. The key word being reasons, it's not just because people have to hate something.

The U.S. is hated until you need our help.

When disaster strikes anywhere in the world nine times out of ten the first country to offer assistance is the U.S. even though you hate us we'll still help.

The USA and it's typical citizens is not hated, our leaders and our foreign policies are. Most of the world realizes our Government has been stolen from us and does not represent the hearts and minds of the average person. Sure, there is greed and selfishness at all levels but the USA has also shown we can have really big hearts...and most of the world knows this.

I thought the world hated us for Gitmo and drone strikes, but apparently it's all good when Obama is doing it.

I don't wonder why America is hated... Frankly, I think it is hated by intellectually retarded people that can not separate emotions from logic.

They hate our government and foreign policies but American people aren't hated and people in other countries that aren't ignorant or fanatics don't blame the average American for the decisions our government makes. Our government doesn't consult with us before going to war or changing/enforcing foreign policy.
