I think Facebook is nice because they have the fun way of sharing photos, and tagging photos to people's profiles. Can Myspace do that? I forget, it's been so long. I remember Myspace allowed people to post on your wall, what did they call it though? They didn't call it a wall back then...
Anyway, when I joined Facebook back in 2004, I liked that I was able to post what classes I was taking, and I could even find someone else that was in my class if they updated their class roster too. It was kind of neat, because say you had a crush on someone in your lecture hall and you didn't have the courage to talk to them, well you can check out their wall and see some of the things they like, and toss them a casual message. It was a super neat idea.
However, suddenly they opened up Facebook to non-college students. And now they don't even let you put what classes you're taking, which was super disappointing. I liked being able to know what classes my friends were taking and who were in my class.
Facebook is still nice though. I chat with people a lot on there, which is nice because I don't spend money on a fancy phone to text. Personally, though. I prefer G+ I feel it's more sophisticated, because all people ever share on Facebook are memes instead of creative new content, which G+ is more about.
