How dare they say Gangnam Style is dead! Some of us just came out from under our rocks and found out about it. It is going to be those second wave people who love the song that are going to keep it going on living into 2013 now. I know all the first run people are likely burnt out on it now, and that is understandable. But they don't have the right to declare it dead for the rest of us. Mainstream media, pffft! CNN

Yah it wasn't on my radar screen until I seen some mention of it on FOX news, then a few days later Bill O'Reilly did a segment on it. So I'm pretty new to the song yet. Who else out there also just heard about it recently?

Oh and am I weird for wanting to know all the words to it so I can sing along fleuntly? I'm only an english speaking american of course, as in I don't know any Korean. Youtube Gangnam Style

You're aware that article came out a month and a half ago?

It's gotten something like 15 million views since yesterday morning.

Peace

May hoards of demons taunt your mind as you dance to it, as the stares of a billion horrors stare upon you.

This song is the bane of my life!...yeah it's catchy...but when you have four kids constantly dancing and singing this around the house it kinda loses it's appeal and is replaced with a mild irritation...which is replaced by major irritation!
that's without mentioning that the older two 9 and 11 find it very amusing that it sounds like he say's "open condom style" which leaves me slightly horrified if I hear them replace the lyrics!

But yeah....enjoy!

This creeps me out.

First of all, I could care less about gangnam style. It was funny originally, but not revolutionary. So it's really weird that I had this random thought this morning about it... That it was "Dead".... The excitement of this big hit single has blown over.

"I wonder if they ask the guy, what's next?" I thought, perhaps the guy is asking himself that very question.

Then I get on ATS... And sure enough, here's a thread on it.

Now if I was some die-hard fan of this one hit single.... Maybe it'd made sense that I had even wasted a minute on thinking about this....

Funny, the whole "group consciousness" at it again? 100th monkey syndrome?

Anyway... I wish Psy good luck with his next mind control music video...

It was my wife's favorite song for like two weeks, lol. I honestly don't get the hype. It's NOT revolutionary, it sounds EXACTLY the same as every other dance/pop song on the radio. It's even got the obligatory lyric with the word "sexy" in it. In fact, I'd say that this song is specifically Sexy And I Know It 2.0.
