From what I have been told the Hubble can visually see the Sun's reflection upon certain parts of both the left landing craft and rovers. It cannot see details but can see the reflection.

Hughes mental issues are well documented.
His obsessive compulsive episodes happened long before Apollo was even a question.
Originally shot as a silent film, Hughes retooled the film over a lengthy gestation period and Hell's Angels is now hailed as one of the first sound blockbuster action films. Sound en.wikipedia.org...'s_Angels_(film)

Jim Irwin held a part time job working for Hughes.
I thought that was Al Bishop? What job was it?
Irwin had a "cover" during this period when he was working in the capacity of test-pilot-to-be for the YF-12A. He was pretending to be going to Hughes Aircraft to be working as the director of the test force for the ASG-18 fire control system. Source thread www.abovetopsecret.com...
In 1962, film director Stanley Kubrick cited Hell's Angels as one of his 10 favorite movies that influenced his later career. Source en.wikipedia.org...'s_Angels_(film)#cite_note-19

My theory is that HH had a body double and he did not actually remain naked in the penthouse suite for all that time, growing out his hair and nails.

Some of the earliest reports of this behavior occurred in the late 40's. That's around 20 years of body doubling, and another layer of complexity to your ideas.
Am actually getting a bit tempted to develop my own theory on the moon landing being faked based on some of your own work. I think you could make a compelling case (at least in narrative) but are too tied up trying to make this Kubrick / Hughes / Nixon connection.
