We have seen Gods hand in this in the 6 day war we saw Gods hand, once again your mislead in what you are learning. The Jews by all accounts of military equipment and force size should not have had a chance. Yet they won and won quickly! All the armies were lined up against Jews with tanks, modern weapons, armed to the hilt. The Jews had few pieces of equipment and were mostly on horseback and on foot. Some of them didn't even have rifles. All these tanks and modern guns were all tested and working as they drove them to the place for battle and tested them all. Jews again were on horse back most on foot and few rifles. The day the war started they ran over the tanks on foot. None of the modern day equipment worked. It all failed all at the same time!! Look it up!! Read on it!!

Sorry, but where on earth did you get these claims? The Israeli army was not on horseback during the Six Day War. They had Centurion tanks as well as M-50 Super Shermans. And those who didn't have rifles had machine guns. In other words they had equipment that was every bit as good - and sometimes better - than the Arabs around them!

If you watched the videos and read the links in my previous post. Then you must read these few links as well !!!

11 Points Of Comparison Between Life In The United States And Life Under Hitler From A Woman Who Has Experienced Both

30 Signs That The United States Of America Is Being Turned Into A Giant Prison

God Has Turned His Back On The United States

How we in the United States have turned against GOD!!

This is how we have fallen from God!!

  1. We have openly voiced a choice to embrace abortion.
  2. We have openly voiced a choice to embrace same-sex marriage.
  3. We have openly voiced a choice to drop references to God.
  4. We have passed laws against God.
  5. Several states just passed laws that drugs are ok now!!

If we do not seriously, SERIOUSLY TURN TO GOD AND NOT JUST TURN TO HIM BUT REPENT AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS, THEN WE ARE DONE PERIOD!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

People in this thread should have stopped responding to this guy after this post. The very fact that he thinks that drugs are anti-religious (especially marijuana a plant that if God is real, He created) is laughable. Altering a person's state of mind is a human tradition and people have been doing forever. Heck alcohol consumption is talked about in the bible. The only people who told us that "drugs are bad," is the government and last I checked the government != God. This poster is clearly brainwashed by the religious right into repeating a bunch of nonsensical religious right talking points that with even a modicum of research would show that they aren't real religious talking points.

By the way, Texas can secede if they want to. Actually, I kind of hope that they would, so that other states can jump on the bandwagon and we can retake our freedom back.

We all know?? Actually, a member state can leave whenever it wants to leave. The federal government is a creation of the states, and the union is between all of the states, not between the federal government and the state. Also, here's a little known FACT, one of the stipulations when Texas was annexed was that Texas can divide into 5 separate states anytime it wants to, which means that instead of 2 senators Texas would have 10 senators. Imagine how that would change the congressional landscape.

In 1820, the Missouri Compromise had helped save the United States from splitting along sectional lines by defining where slavery could exist in the territory gained in the Louisiana Purchase. Specifically, slavery could exist south of the 36°30'N line of latitude, and no further west than Missouri. The territory claimed by Texas extended further north and west than the Missouri Compromise lines (well into present-day New Mexico and Colorado). In another compromise designed to overcome objections to annexation, the 1845 joint resolution that admitted Texas to the Union provided that Texas could be divided into as many as five states. Any states north or west of the Missouri Compromise lines would be free; in the others, a popular vote would determine whether slavery could exist. The power to create new states could be exercised only by Congress, with the consent of the affected state legislatures. Congress had a long precedent to follow in the creation of new states from territorial acquisitions. For example, the Northwest Territory eventually became ten different states, and the Louisiana Purchase eventually led to the creation of thirteen new states. In 1850, Southerners wanted to exercise the provision to create another slave state from Texas to balance the admission of California as a free state. In one of the provisions of the Compromise of 1850, Texas was instead given a payout of $10 million to give up its northern and western claims. A few years later, the Kansas-Nebraska Act repealed the Missouri Compromise and made the issue of the boundaries a moot point. Although in theory Texas could still be divided into multiple states, any possibility of carving additional states from Texas ended when the Civil War settled the question of slavery once and for all.

I disagree.

We get to choose between dems and reps ..... and that's no choice at all. The two major parties have erected so many barriers to third parties that they may as well not exist. Also, our programming propaganda networks will never allow a full and fair debate of all the candidates.

One observation -- it appears that voting fraud has been increasing at an exponential rate over the past decade or so. Perhaps this is a tactic to raise the stress and polarize the population further?

How come Texans werent too keen on seceding, when the Texan bush was running the country in the ground, with policies that differ little or none from those of obama.

If Texas ever did somehow secede from America, It would be a very unfortunate and INTOLERANT place to live!

I can see people being forced into the Christian cult religion or face a "Texas Inquisition" full of torture and punishment (think Spanish Inquisition).

All would be forced to attend church every Sunday or go to prison.

Unmarried couples engaging in intercourse would get life in jail.

A commoner peasant caught steeling a loaf of bread to feed their starving family would get the death sentence, while a big-shot CEO or politician can steal millions and get only house-arrest for a few day which is typical Red States backwards mentality.

Science and evolution would be completely scrapped, and violent, nonsense, sexist, racist, absurd, contradicted, asinine biblical fairy tales written 2 thousand years ago would become "fact" and truth.

Anyone NOT in the religious cult, would be open game for being stoned or burned at the stake.

All social safeguards, health-care, retirement plans, decent wages, workers rights, and all other things created to help commoner peasants would be eliminated. Hell, they would just make it a Slave and Master society and be done with it. That is a Red States wet-dream society.

This is what a Texas that seceded would look like!! Not good!!

If you were going to march out the "R" word ..... don't.

Obama ran his '08 campaign on essentially being the anti-bush. After gaining the White House, he immediately turned into bush-on-steroids. That's one issue.

Other issues are: our people are simply too dumbed down to recognize the threat this federal government poses. They are also too distracted by the media dog-n-pony show and the daily rat race.

But things are starting to change because all this government crime and abuse is destroying the fabric of this country and people are feeling the very real effects. If Obama had been caucasian, he would have been gone already with his documentation and gun/drug running problems.

Indeed, political parties are merely puppets.

Has anyone noticed how the petition 'Let Texas Leave' has suddenly had a massive decrease in signatures every hour? Before they were getting several hundred per hour, normally a petitions rate of signatures looks like a bell curve; this looks like a cliff.

Yeah - the first thing they would do is argue about who is REALLY representing "Texas"

the reason states cannot secede is that there is no provision for it - the articles of confederation that preceded the constitution were officially termed "Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union" - and the constitution was supposed to make the union even better - it is difficult to see how a union could be better if it was allowed to disintigrate!!

From the Supreme Court in 1868::

The Union of the States never was a purely artificial and arbitrary relation. It began among the Colonies, and grew out of common origin, mutual sympathies, kindred principles, similar interests, and geographical relations. It was confirmed and strengthened by the necessities of war, and received definite form and character and sanction from the Articles of Confederation. By these, the Union was solemnly declared to 'be perpetual.' And when these Articles were found to be inadequate to the exigencies of the country, the Constitution was ordained 'to form a more perfect Union.' It is difficult to convey the idea of indissoluble unity more clearly than by these words. What can be indissoluble if a perpetual Union, made more perfect, is not?[

The declaration of independance refers to the moral right of the people to REVOLT from their Govt., and many early politicians took note of this and that it is quite different to secession.

However the constitution does, of course, contain provision for changing itself - so it is entirely possible that at some future amendment secession could be included into it.

Until then it is simply not a legal option.

Trololololol; you realize that Texas will now have access to a "free" carrier? That U.S.S. Forrestal could easily be the flagship of a new nation.

*note* Of course, you'd have to be mental to try stealing an aircraft carrier from a lightly guarded junker facility.
