World Series Security

Has anyone heard anything about precautions for the World Series? It makes sense to me that it could be a potential target, Televised, huge potential casualties, USA's pastime right before the elections. However I haven't heard of any special security or precautions that MLB might be taking. Just curious if anyone has any info or thoughts. The fact that games of series will be played in my city (STL) may have played into this paranoia a bit.

Probably the same level of security that the superbowl got. Random searches and metal detectors along with bomb sniffer dogs and other tricks.

Pretty standard security affair.

If Terrorists wanted to send a message to the US in particular then yes, the World Series would be a target. If they wanted to send one to the world a more likely place for it to happen would be at something like the Champions League final, UEFA Cup final, etc...something along those lines. Doing something at one of those sporting events would cause shockwaves throughout the world; including, but not limited to the US.
