He almost makes it sound like they are blindly firing into a city. I'd just note again here how densely populated that area is. 1.6 million people in
a mid-size American city's worth of space. 90 dead as of this morning and after days of bombardment. (Google Earth shows it's a big, dense city like
any other major city area in the world)
No offense to Chomsky, but maybe philosophy and ideology is more his specialty. Military matters don't seem to be. If Israel were indiscriminate then
bombardment of a dense mass of people like Gaza would have thousands dead and 10's of thousands wounded. Just a couple ..couple..large bombs or naval
artillery into the wrong spot could triple the standing losses in a single shot. Days of this..and it hasn't happened.
I can only deduce that Israel is very targeted, very selective and highly effective with their strikes. After all, that 90 the New York Times reported
this morning included those they meant to kill.
