Unarmed woman shot in the head [/url]Kennedy traveled from Vancouver, Wash., to meet with detectives who are investigating the Friday shooting that killed her daughter, Danielle Willard. Kennedy said police have told her so far that her 21-year-old daughter was unarmed at the time of the shooting, and that the fatal bullet entered through the top of her head. Kennedy, who saw her daughter’s body, said it also looked as if another bullet had grazed her chin.

Depends on the situation, if a crackhead is coming at me with a crowbar, I'd say a shot to the head counts as serving and protecting.

Not how it works. They shoot for centre mass. Not saying I agree or disagree but that's policy as far as I know in every police dept if they have to fire a weapon.
In almost all cases if killing isn't an option then you shouldn't be using a gun to begin with.
Great video...it really does piss you off.

I get that but still, this was a young woman, head shot seems a tad harsh.

There's the issue right there

This'll make ya really angry
I remember a thread on here about a lot of vets being recruiting into the police which to me, seems to have caused a lot of problems. Big difference between being a cop and a soldier, citizens are not the enemy.edit on 16-11-2012 by Zcustosmorum because: (no reason given)
