At the same time as this talk of a Cease Fire, leaflets are being dropped warning of a ground invasion. People are attempting to evacuate those areas.
Note: Gaza is so densely populated, the question has been repeatedly asked, "Where can they go?"
The Minister of the Interior has called on people NOT to evacuate, citing Psychological warfare based on leaflets being dropped in North Gaza, in places where bombing did not subsequently happen.

UN Secretary was just now on RT just now, condemning violence on both sides and calling for a Cease Fire and Humanitarian Aide. Asked that Israel show
great restraint and that civilian casualties must be minimized. He said he was saddened that he was just here in 2009 for the same situation, and that
continued bloodshed would only inhibit a peaceful solution.
He mentioned 'a two state solution' at one point. Israel's Prime Minister, standing at an adjacent podium, did not look pleased at the mention of that.

Live Updates: Massive Strike on Terror Targets in Gaza
Tuesday, November 20, 2012:
11:05 PM: During the course of the evening, the IDF continued targeting dozens of terror infrastructure sites throughout the Gaza Strip, including a bank used to finance Hamas operatives, a site in the southern Strip used to launch terror attacks, a Hamas command and control center in the northern Gaza Strip, a military hideout and a senior operatives’ meeting place.
In addition, the IDF targeted tunnels containing explosives, four weapons storage facilities, two weapon manufacturing facilities, as well as a system of tunnels used transport gas to the Hamas, gas that was used to support terror activities.
Furthermore, IAF aircraft targeted several terror operatives as well as terrorist squads that were preparing to fire anti-tank missiles towards Israel. Israeli Navy soldiers and IAF aircraft targeted several rocket launching sites and seven underground rocket launchers.
10:20 PM: Over the past seven days, 809 rockets fired from Gaza hit Israel while another 389 were intercepted by the Iron Dome system. The IDF targeted more than 1,450 terror sites in the Gaza Strip so far.
8:25 PM: A short while ago, the IDF targeted an Islamic Jihad site in the southern Gaza Strip. Yunis Shaluf, who was responsible for rocket fire on Eilat several months ago, was killed.

5:00 PM: Earlier today, Hamas celebrated the bus bombing in Tel Aviv. We have the video:
3:00 PM: A short while ago in Gaza, the IDF targeted an underground rocket launcher as well as 5 terror operatives preparing to launch rockets.
12:20 PM: A city bus exploded in Tel Aviv. Ambulances were heard in the area. Reports out of Gaza indicated that Hamas was celebrating the fact that Israeli civilians were targeted. Stay tuned for updates.

9:00 AM: This morning, the IDF targeted Hamas operatives in their hiding place in Gaza where they were building rockets. A direct hit was confirmed.
7:10 AM: Overnight, the IDF targeted dozens of terror infrastructure sites throughout the Gaza Strip. The targets included the Ministry of Internal Security – which served as one of the main command and control centers for the Hamas terror organization – as well as an important police compound and a military hideout used as a meeting place for senior operatives and a communications center. Additionally, Israeli Navy targeted a rocket launching site, a Hamas post and a structure used for Hamas’ terror activity.
In a joint IDF-ISA activity, the IDF targeted, in a pinpoint strike, a Hamas intelligence operations center, which was deliberately located in a media building in the Gaza Strip. In addition, IAF aircraft targeted a senior Hamas operative in the aerial defense operations, several terrorist squads, and a terrorist who was identified at the launching site from which a rocket was fired yesterday towards Jerusalem.
Furthermore, the IDF targeted approximately 50 underground rocket launchers, terror tunnels, three weapons storage facilities, and a weapons manufacturing site. The IDF also targeted a system of tunnels used to transport fuel to Hamas.

On November 14, in response to incessant rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, the IDF launched a widespread campaign against terror targets in Gaza. The operation, called Pillar of Defense, had two main goals: cripple terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and defend Israelis living under fire. Here’s a summary of the events which took place during the operation.
The operation opened when the IDF surgically targeted Ahmed Jabari, head of Hamas’ military wing in the Gaza Strip. Jabari was directly responsible for executing terror attacks against Israel in the past.
During the next eight days, the IDF targeted more than 1,500 terror sites across the Gaza Strip. The sites that were targeted were positively identified by precise intelligence over the course of several months, including:
Top-ranking Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists who were targeted included:
> Ahmed Jabari, head of Hamas’ military wing – targeted on November 14
> Hab’s Hassan Us Msamch, senior operative in Hamas’ police – targeted on November 15
> Ahmed Abu Jalal, Commander of the military wing in Al-Muazi – targeted on November 16
> Khaled Shaer, senior operative in the anti-tank operations – targeted on November 16
> Osama Kadi, senior operative in the smuggling operations in the southern Gaza Strip – targeted on November 17

For the first time ever — Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups fired long-range rockets, such as the Fajr-5, toward Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Though the IDF severely damaged the terrorist organizations’ long-range rocket arsenal, more than 3.5 million Israelis are still under the threat of Hamas’ rocket fire.

Throughout the operation, the IDF did everything that it could to minimize harm to civilians in Gaza.
Despite the IDF’s warnings, Hamas urged Palestinian civilians in Gaza to ignore the IDF warnings.
During the eight days of the operation — and in the weeks leading up to it — life was unbearable for more than 3.5 million Israelis. From November 14 to November 21, Palestinian terrorist groups fired more than 1,506 rockets at Israel.

Of those 1,506 rockets fired from Gaza, more than 800 rockets struck Israel, damaging homes, schools and other civilian areas. Some of rockets reached the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem areas.
421 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome, which saved countless Israeli lives. 152 rockets fired from Gaza crashed back into Gaza.
Despite the IDF’s best efforts to protect everyone in Israel, five Israeli civilians were killed due to rocket fire, while an additional 240 Israeli civilians were injured. In addition, Cpl. Yosef Fartuk, 18, from Emmanuel, was killed on November 20 by a rocket fired from Gaza into Israel.
The IDF is determined to continue targeting sites that are used to carry out terror attacks against Israel and its citizens.

For the first time ever — Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups fired long-range rockets, such as the Fajr-5, toward Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Though the IDF severely damaged the terrorist organizations’ long-range rocket arsenal, more than 3.5 million Israelis are still under the threat of Hamas’ rocket fire.

Throughout the operation, the IDF did everything that it could to minimize harm to civilians in Gaza.
Despite the IDF’s warnings, Hamas urged Palestinian civilians in Gaza to ignore the IDF warnings.
During the eight days of the operation — and in the weeks leading up to it — life was unbearable for more than 3.5 million Israelis. From November 14 to November 21, Palestinian terrorist groups fired more than 1,506 rockets at Israel.

Of those 1,506 rockets fired from Gaza, more than 800 rockets struck Israel, damaging homes, schools and other civilian areas. Some of rockets reached the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem areas.
421 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome, which saved countless Israeli lives. 152 rockets fired from Gaza crashed back into Gaza.
Despite the IDF’s best efforts to protect everyone in Israel, five Israeli civilians were killed due to rocket fire, while an additional 240 Israeli civilians were injured. In addition, Cpl. Yosef Fartuk, 18, from Emmanuel, was killed on November 20 by a rocket fired from Gaza into Israel.
The IDF is determined to continue targeting sites that are used to carry out terror attacks against Israel and its citizens.
