These are mine. I'll post the link, since the videos never work.

You don't have to listen to each of the entire songs (I don't blame you if you don't) But give them all a brief listen at least. Some of you know, I make stories, and I'm writing an apocalyptic novel, and this is the music that inspires me.

Top Ten Apocalypse Songs

Please give me your opinions on my songs. These are mostly soundtrack songs, they make me visualize certain aspects of an apocalypse happening.

Songs that are NOT soundtrack songs that describe an apocalypse... that's a different list.

Please tell me what you think of mine, then tell me yours.

Now imagine while listening to the song you running out onto the street while everyone is going crazy!!
You only hear this song with all other sound silent, then everything is going slow motion, people crying around you running, waving their hands from an Extra-Terrestrial invasion.

The end is nigh

I would not run from the holocaust
I would not run from the bomb
I'd welcome the chance to meet my maker
and fly into the sun

Fly into the sun
fly into the sun
I'd break up into million pieces
and fly into the sun

I would not run from the blazing light
I would not run from it's rain
I'd see it as an end to misery
as an end to worldly pain

An end to worldly pain
an end to worldly pain
I'd shine by the light of the unknown moment
to end this worldly pain

And fly into the sun
fly into the sun
I'd shine by the light of the unknown moment
and fly into the sun

The earth is weeping, the sky is shaking
the stars split to their core
And every proton and unnamed neutron
is fusing in my bones

And an unnamed mammal is darkly rising
as man burns from his tomb
And I look at this as a blissful moment
to fly into the sun

Fly into the sun
fly into the sun
I'd burn up into a million pieces
and fly into the sun

To end this mystery
answer my mystery
I'd look at this as a wondrous moment
to end this mystery

Fly into the sun
fly into the sun
I'd break up into a million pieces
and fly into the sun

I like a lot of your songs a lot, I think that Lux Aeterna (Requiem For a Dream) is one of the best songs ever!!
I'll just stick to five...I'm not sure if these are in anything specific but I know that some of these groups do soundtracks for games and movie trailers.
(All songs must be listened to loudly for epicness to take effect)
1. Road to Revelation

2. World Collapsing

3. Calamity

4. Hymn Of The Apocalypse

5. End of it all

My neck of the woods has a thing for dressing up stupid, fire and mad drums (well, making lots of noise with just about anything, it is no wonder stomp comes from here) So if I could chose a way to face a fiery end of the world it would be to some mental drumming, the more drummers the better

My contribution to this thread will be "and I will kiss" that opened the London Olympics..

More organised than the usual tribal style of drumming from around here, but it'll do

There can only be one song to end it all.

Apocalypse Now The Doors, This is the end

Great selections. As a ol 37F we used to play music all the time during raids. Similiar to this. Lots of classical and heavy metal.

But having seen a apocalypse at the smaller scale up close, I hope that we can at least avoid it at the larger level.

Of course, nature will have her say in the matter.
