Witnessed UFO at Kingscliff Australia whilst watching Partial Solar Eclipse.

The eclipse was very subtle I took a series of photos through Iphone 4s without having to directly look at sun due to lens offset.
After a few photos I noticed a white dot appearring in frame left of the sun.
The white dot moved and I have several photos of it and the sun in close proximity to each other.
Trouble is how do I upload to this thread?
The photos are hi res and over the 1mb limit imposed by ATS.
They really are baffling and worth sharing ..as there is definitely an object there that was moving.
If someone can help I will be glad to show these genuine photos to ATS members ect.

Try E-mailing them to yourself, my Iphone always asks if I want to resize.

Thanks But is there another way to resize?
I am at home and can't email from iphone no reception .

Use tumblr or imageshack. Upload them there, then link them in the thread.

You could upload them to ImageShack and put the 'direct link' url between the (img)(/img) tags on here. If you don't have an ImageShack account I can do it for you if you email me the photos? I can private message you my email address

I can't see the pics because I don't have a tumblr account, but I am sure some helpful person will post them. Considering you didn't see this with your own eyes, and from the description I might guess lens flare, but I'm looking forward to seeing them.

The reason I say lens flare is because I captured similar pics with my iphone while watching the sunset this summer. I could move the flare around in the frame based on angle of lens. Sorry for the size of these, you'll need to scroll to see the flare. It is not a UFO and not Niburu! And the other thing is a seagull!

So be it spent a lot of time trying to share the photos with other ATS members learnt about the cloud companies ect and the process of uploading to some degree .
I have studied the sixty plus photos of the very very partial eclipse that should have been a 80% event...and the white object appears on approx 14% of the photos.
I think I need to retire for now though..it perhaps isnt meant to be shared.

So be it spent a lot of time trying to share the photos with other ATS members learnt about the cloud companies ect and the process of uploading to some degree .

Are U sure it wasn't lens flares like the poster above posted.

I was hoping to see your photos maybe a mod could put them in thread after you re-size.

If you are having issues resizing just open the image in Microsoft image viewer and in the tools or edit tab, I'm pretty sure there is a re-size option.

Cop out or not..a member messaged me and I have studied pics in detail again and I agree with boncho about it being lens flare.
Only because one photo out of the sequence of twelve showed the object in front of a branch.
So I apologise to all for getting excited over not much at all.
The eclipse itself at the location was almost a non event in terms of raw spectacle.
But the very subtle darkening of the sky and the cooling of the sea breeze(dramatic) was sublime.
So I learned a few things today..and lens flare I will watch out for in future.

I have conceded it was a lens fault.
only after discovering the object on top of a branch not behind it.
ON all other pics it appears as an object in varying distances from sun.
But good spot.

Down in Melb. there was nothing to see except an extremely bright sun as it was rising, (thats with the naked eye, yeah call me stupid as others have)

It could have been my eyes having poor adjustment as I work during the night and am on my way home just after sun rise, however it did seem brighter than other days with the same conditions.
