Words are like weapons, so you gotta always be on your guard,
Close enough to kiss is close enough to kill, that’s what makes this hard.
Our blood is thicker than water, but not as thick as your fear,
So sit down and listen, because I wanna make this clear:

I know you’re lookin’ out for me, but your help it only hurts,
You try an’ clarify your position, but that only makes things worse.
