Alright, clearly this subject material could go in half a dozen forums. But, I found the source in the political section of the news, so just going with it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — David Petraeus, the retired four-star general who led the U.S. military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, has resigned as director of the CIA after admitting he had an extramarital affair.

CIA Director Petraeus quits: extramarital affair

Obviously black propaganda to smear him out of office, before the new political season, the next four years and all.

Some one clearly had the dirty ammunition on him, and held on to it like a card waiting to be played. I think it it was a honey trap, as text book as it gets. Either way, a new Director of Central Intelligence or DCI needs to be announced. I for one have no other candidate in mind who compares to Vickers. No one currently, is as qualified and experienced as Vickers, when it comes to being made for the job. CIA deserves a real leader, who knows what their doing.

At this point, I would volunteer to be a desk jockey if it would help Vickers as DCI.

Watch what else happens between now and after the election, and who gets canned in government positions. These are the power plays being leveraged out, by whom ever is pulling the strings in Washington DC.
