Black Ops 2

Who's ready for Tuesday?

I have it preordered from Amazon because I don't want to wait on line for two hours like I did for MW3. I paid like 16 dollars or something dumb like that for the shipping to get to me on Tuesday so I hope it works out.

I'm excited for it. MW2 I loved, it was my first COD game, and Black Ops was my favorite. I put the most time into that one. 20 days and some odd hours.

MW3 was different though. I played it a lot when it came out, prestiged a few times, got some gold guns, but then became disinterested in it. Went back to Black Ops for a bit but wasn't into it that heavily this year. So I hope to get back into Call Of Duty with Black Ops 2. I play on Playstation.

I'm ready for the new game, but not the players who use the hacks. Good thing about Black Ops 2 - We can control our own server which means we can kick the hacks off and ban them from returning.

We didn't have that option with MW3....We just had to deal with it after dropping $60 - $80 for the game.

Im gonna get it but probably not wednesday, I just got Halo 4 and I like to play one game at a time.
But I cant wait to see what the Nazi Zombie mode is like

i think cod has gone the same way as the madden and tony hawk series. every year they come out with another and its the same game with a few tweaks and new maps. i thought cod4 was the best and the only other one i liked was mw2. imo infinity ward was way better than treyarch, but thats just me cause i never liked zombies. black ops was ok, but mw3 was terrible. boring maps, bad spawn system, the guns sound cheap and all the same. i thought there was too much crap in mw3 like with killstreaks cluttering everything up but it looks even worse in black ops 2. theres so many drones and planes and robotic crap it looks like a stupid transformers game.

treyarch took a great idea, zombie MODS from cod2 and ruined it by making it part of the game. I detested the form of zombie mod that everyone raves about these days.

It was a mod, soldiers with ammoless shotties and zombies with nothing. 1 zombie starts till the last one soldier remains, then he's the new zombie next round.
a mod... not a mode.

treyarch came out first with cod3 ?! xbox only. and you can tell they're a console company.

and i had to laugh out loud, you mean they gave you control over who is on your server? Like they had with cod1, 2, and 4 ? lol..

I still want to throttle kids who come into a server I'm on and start "This lobby sucks...".. IT'S THE GAME YOU TROLL, NOT THE LOBBY. No lobbies on cod4 so go back to your console funnies, newb...

I gave up on single player cod when I first saw "Hit J to jump onto the moving train." and was reminded of consoles back in the day and where games were lead through stories and not actually games.

I'll stick with cod4, I know the players, the servers, and I know whose guids to watch out for...

I know what you mean. Sometimes it's nice to play in the game modes with no perks or killstreaks or stuff like that. It can be a bit much sometimes.

Amazon just took out the payment. Tomorrow is the big day.

I'm actually really looking forward to Black Ops 2. I still play MW3 a lot but like others I'm getting a little bored of it. I was watching some videos of Black Ops 2 and it looks really good.

We are going to the midnight release and 'cough, cough'.... tomorrow will probably be a sick day.

I'm done with COD, not trying to start arguments but it just doesn't cut it with me now.
I saw a trailer for "Nuketown 2030 (w/e date is)" and it';s the same map with different skin, basically the general rule for their entire games.
Maybe i'll pick them up again on Next gen when they make a true update to the game.

I completely understand what you're saying. But for me, the money I pay, and the hours of entertainment I get out of it make it worth it. I enjoy the new maps and guns and small things.

Im picking it up in about an hour. I liked the first Black Ops, but I really didnt like MW3. MW2 was my favorite out of them all. (I love BF3 at the moment)

Nazi zombies.....good thing i have plenty of red bull and vodka.

Spending 15 extra dollars on Amazon to get it on released day was a total waste. I should have just went to the store this morning.

nothing i can really add to that. although i wonder why people love cod multiplayer, after playing battlefield once i couldn't play cod again. just seems like the most simple of shooters.

anyway.. for those that are buying the game i hope it's much better than all previous titles..

Well I've logged some hours since I got it yesterday afternoon, and I'm really liking it. Looks good, feels good. Much better than MW3. By a lot.

The maps for the most part are good. Finally some bigger sized maps. There's one or two I really don't like. Drone for example is horrible.

The only real complaint I have is the killstreaks. To me they're too much sometimes. But it's not a huge deal. Great game.

And it seems as though the servers for PS3 at least are down..

Just bought it thru steam, waiting for it to download

Im getting some problems to. (Also for PS3). Im getting complete freezes every 30 minutes, and also its impossible to "even teams". Even when the lobby is full, and we're placed into teams, itll just jump back and forth to the "match is about to begin" and then back to "need more players to even teams".

I got that a bunch on launch day. Last night it just kept saying there was an error every time I tried to join a match. Haven't tried it today yet. I was pretty disappointed.

I soo suck at MP, I get killed too fast lol
